  1. Just the one piece came to me.
  2. Fresh inventory for PartZ R&R - S30 heat shields just back from plating, before and after pics. One for early 240Z without the heat riser, three regular 240Z, one 280Z. Coming soon: Fuel Rail Fiesta!
  3. View Advert NOS Fairlady 260Z Choke Knob From the parts hoard: a NOS Choke Knob that I've determined is for a Fairlady 260Z. The tiny mounting screw is in the package as is a larger screw - possibly for related bracket. When i could not locate the P/N in the export car parts catalogs I did a general search and found a reference on a Japanese auction site where the guy asking 20,000 Yen ($188 USD) for one!!! This one can be yours for $75 including standard domestic shipping, international shipping extra at actual cost. Payment via PayPal, PM if interested, thanks. 4. Bye-bye VR-1, I see Lucas oil coming to a crankcase near me very soon. Very enlightening study, thanks for posting.
  5. Regarding ZCON, the ZCCA Stock category is a brutally difficult class as Zup and many others have learned. The changes you listed might be difficult to undo and there will possibly be other items that need attention. There is no other stock class available, cars with up to 15 modifications typically compete in the Street Modified class where it is not so much WHAT you did but rather HOW WELL you did it. Your car would likely do very well in this class.

  7. Beautiful car, extremely well done. Congrats - now, drive the damn thing and get some long past due enjoyment out of it.
  8. Mark, My 12/70 car has the round chrome buttons that are original to the car so i suspect these are for a later model. Thanks. Jim

I have these coat hooks in my stash, bought as part of the parts hoard so likely from a Z. No idea as to year and model, any help? Thanks.
  11. View Advert 240Z Sidemarker Light Set Refurbished set of front and rear sidemarker lights for a 240Z. These are the OE IKI 5004 series lenses, bodies, and rubber mounts – not the cheapo aftermarket stuff from China. The lenses have been cleaned and polished to a high shine, free of scratches. The stainless frames have been buffed to a bright finish. Bullet connectors have been replaced as required. The wiring on the front lights is covered in new protective shrinkwrap. The bodies on the front lights are original finish with no rust or damage, the bodies for the rear set have been freshly replated. The rubber boots on the front lights are the later style to protect against corrosion. Mounting screws and bulbs are included. The lights can be used on later model S30’s but may require different connectors. These lights are ready to install and are being sold only as a complete set. $175 includes standard shipping within CONUS. Payment via PayPal, PM if interested, thanks. 12. What he said ^^^. It doesn't hurt to put a wee bit of lube (just a film coat) on the barrel clip prior to pushing it thru the sheet metal.
  13. Charles, Yes - I'd like the cap if available, thanks for thinking of me. It would be a better set with the mounting ring and three small screws. I'm going to contact the OP to see if he might pull some other stuff. Jim

  15. These folks did not hesitate to look up and add my 920 Safari Gold to their selection - outstanding match! Your 905 is not currently listed but all you have to do is ask. https://www.paintscratch.com/
  16. I referred your post to one of our fellow members who may have one available.
  17. That would be termed as a conservative understatement!
  18. Given that the top one came from a 280Z, it means that all S30's came with hatch struts with a fork at the end of the shaft.
  19. The top one is the correct style for a '70 so it looks like the middle one will work if you can get a bolt to secure it.
  20. As did mine.
  21. 13 months to sort out the new system, 1 month to put all back to OE if you don't.
  22. 9.5 hours for me - but only if I don't stop to eat, pee, and refuel. So easy, even a Z owner can do it!
  23. Piece of cake for a Western Canada cowboy, eh?
  24. WOW - Awesome results for our CZC representatives! Congrats to my Arkansas buds Jim1 and Jim2 with a pair of 1st's - well done. Jim3
  25. Avoiding the summer heat (hopefully)! Note there is no host club shown - looks like this will be on ZCCA to organize, as they did for Memphis 2015.
