  4. Flying in on Monday from Phoenix..... Attending with other Arizona residents. By the way........ It's not a DRY heat there is it ?
  5. Looks like it might have been Manteca Datsun. Found a license plate frame on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=280635396893
  6. $40 is fine for those enthusiasts who are spending serious money (gas, hotel, food) just to get to the show from either out-of-state or more than just locally in the Orange County / LA area. That is why those of us driving long distance really want a 3 day event. Unfortunately many locals expect this show to be free and don't realize or care what the cost is to put these events on. As one pointed out we don't drive Ferrari's, but those who bitch about $40 never will.
  7. Jim sold the car a few years back........... I believe a young lady from the San Jose CA area purchased the car.
  8. Chris is completely correct. The 2012 host city will be confirmed in Savannah next year. It will be tough to top the event in Nashville; I am looking forward to a great event in Savannah; the "Valley of the Zun"....... ooops Sun aka Phoenix will definitely be asking to host the 25th Annual Z Car Convention in '12. If we held an event in winter not many could drive to our event. Remember this: IT'S A DRY HEAT Although the ambient temperature in October is about 78-85 F...... the humidity is only about 20-38%. Thanks. Gregg
  9. Isn't the first car behind you a RX-7 ? ...................... congrats on being in front of the Mazda's
  10. Welcome to the site Marty !!! Another club in the Phoenix area for over ten years is Desert Z Association............ (www.desertzassociation.com) Members of DZA have a wealth of knowledge and own Z's from 1970 to the 40th Anniversary 370Z. GTR's also.
  11. Gary & Diane, We did the Tortilla Run / Lunch today. We had 22 Z's attend and we sure miss some of your Datsun's / Nissans, but we especially miss both of you. Take care. Gregg & Iris
  12. I bought the black not chrome, original Nissan mirrors last year. Got mine from Troy at datsunrestore.com
  13. For my '71, I just ordered some from Dean at www.datsunparts.com He mostly deals with Datsun roadsters.

  15. Carl, Thanks for the info........... Many of us from Desert Z (Phoenix), Sin City Z (Las Vegas), Tucson Z Club, and others from Northern California are going to the Datsun Heritage Museum this Saturday. Our trip was planned as an extra event on Motorsport (MSA) week-end and having Mr. Shin Yoshikawa there will be a true bonus. Gregg Rogers Prez- Desert Z Assoc.
