Sounds a lot like this one from late Nov. but with a new car for bait. I am a LT of USAF and I was transferred to Hickam AFB in HI for a 5 years period and because they cant ship all my cars here i am asking only $4,000 for this one. My Datsun is garaged at the Logistic Department at Fairchild AFB ready to go. No rust, garage kept,no accidents,clear title under my name. The shipping will be free for you because I will transport the car using a military trailer. The financial part will be managed by eBay Motors, which means you will have a 5 days inspection period BEFORE committing to buy my car. The windows out of my early 260 parts car look like they are a bluish tint, and the ones in my 73 240 parts car are more of a grayish tint. At least thats how it looks to me, it could be the lighting too. Both are identical in size and bolt pattern though. Both are Nissan windows. 73 on the left 74 on the right in the pic. I don't have any from a 280 so I have no info there.

Is that the one in Tacoma on CL? I sold one for $250 that needed to be rebuilt, so I'd say thats fair.

Silver and rust, yep. It is no longer posted. I checked the ad every now and then to see if anything had been added to the sold list, but it never changed. Some peeps just think they have gold, when it is really just gilded rust.

Nice find, a much better end to a story that could have led to a few bucks to the junkyard for scrap.

I have seen this sellers ads before as well. I tried to contact him through CL but never got a reply. Normally he has a picture of a row on nice looking Z's and says he is selling restoration parts.

I should have that piece. I am parting a 73 240Z, and a 74 260Z. both with flat tops. I will look for it, and check the length this afternoon when home from work. TZ

The transaction will be made thru eBay Motors, because they offer 5 days inspection period. You'll have 5 days to inspect, test and drive the car before deciding to keep it or not. If the vehicle is not like I described, a military trailer will take the car back on my expense and you will get a full refund. eBay Motors will keep safe the funds until you receive the car with all the papers work. Only after you confirm them that you wanna keep the car they will release me the funds. In this way, you will be able to inspect the vehicle before committing to buy it.
