Just venting
Get your time estimates in writing! Or make up your own (contract) on a computer and get people to write deadlines on it & sign that. Maybe even cost estimates. It seems that when somebody signs off on a project, they seem to remember better that it needs to get done. thx

Anybody up for a new Z shirt? PART TWO!
If it's not absolutely obvious what kind of car it is, you DO need some kind of text, unless you want people to be asking you "What kind of car is that on your shirt?" Since caricature's purpose is to exaggerate to give a comic effect, the accompanying text is needed. Or you could change the graphic to include the Z logo.

Important Grounding Points
That's weird... Ocasionally, I'll hear a relay click on or off when I have the key set to ACC. Maybe I have some loose or intermittent grounds.

Anybody up for a new Z shirt? PART TWO!
Sorry, David, but I don't think that other thread (which I read earlier) explains what the shirt is supposed to "say." It's OK, if he wants to make a little money, but what's the motif of the graphic? Racing? Restoration? Zs suck? Sex in my Z? what? The old T-shirt was promoting this website, and I think it did a great job of that. Anybody can draw a car on a shirt, but it needs to be "different." It needs to say something to you. Otherwise, a white shirt with a barcode & the word "shirt" on it would be fine to sell to make some bux. mikey, I like your graphic talent. Don't take anybody's criticisms personally. This shirt will turn out great when we get this question answered & things get focused. This is basically a can of worms.

What are you using to run the grounds from point to point?

Anybody up for a new Z shirt? PART TWO!
Aims nukes at Enigma... He wanted all opinions, not just yours, mate. (just kidding about the nukes. How is one to know the watermark text was to protect his idea? How is one to know it wasn't part of the 'art?' It wasn't obvious, so you see what happens. I still prefer the old T-Shirt scheme, but then I usually don't like 'art' except for display. Zedman, Maybe it would help to know why you wanted to develop another T-shirt. Are you trying to make a statement? The old one, IMO, was to spread the word about this club.

I was expecting a caricature of a Z car, like you have, with some text around it. Maybe like "Beat Zis

Any recommendations for battery cables
Can an 'auto electrician' make up some cables with the correct length & ends (clamp & terminal)? I'd like to add an extra tail for ground and one for headlamps, but would still like to have the proper oem look for the clamps. Those clamps with the temporary ends should be just that- temporary.

Injector wires
I was answering the initial question. Do you have any information on the BMW injector connector upgrade? thx

Injector wires
You can trace the injector wires through the ECU connector inside the car. I think you could use a small battery & test light to do that.

New Semester at College
Well... Today is the first day back at school for the local comminity college, and the parking lot is filled with...RICE! I even saw a riced 5.0 Mustang on the way there (only 1.5 miles.) It was pink with clear taillights, flares & skinny tires, and a few bumper stickers on the front chin spoiler. In the parking lot, I saw half a dozen subarus with the huge spoiler, and then a few pontiacs, Honhuhs, and a couple Citations with them too. Not to mention most of the cars in the 'Employee section' didn't have the permit sticker in the window... "There was no other place to park!" they'll say. Next week they'll get cited.

Previous-Owner Dumbassery...
I took the hose off my p.c.v. valve and it had suction but no hiss. Does that mean it's bad? I can get a new one and screw it on, but the current one seems to be stuck on pretty good & won't unscrew easily.thx

Whats in you "Emergency Toolkit"?
You should see what happens on the freeways at the first snowfall! I'll take the streets instead of the freeway if I need to- especially during rush hour.

Whats in you "Emergency Toolkit"?
I'm sure even a new car can get into a jam, but that's probably everybody's goal. A wise man used to have this credo: "Be Prepared."

Whats in you "Emergency Toolkit"?
A 169-piece metric cell phone? Using "a cell phone" for repairs or service for your vehicle is about the alowest way to get something done. A case-in-point would be last weekend at the drive-in theatre. The luxury mini-van parked next to me had a dead battery about 1/2 way through the first movie. the guy called his auto club, and he told me he would have to wait several hours until both movies were finished before a tow truck could arrive to give help. I loaned him my booster cables, and he got a boost from a friend with another luxury car (he thought the luxo-mobile's "bigger battery" would charge his faster...

Alternative Wheel Center Caps
I finally got my idea figured out. I have the 6-spoke ZX wheels, so I took the rear hub caps off, and cut around it just under the chamfer, then I sanded it so it was flat, and glued it on the wheel with GOOP. the front will have to stay stock, because the hubs stick out.
