  3. View Advert Remanufactured L28 Engine Up for sale is my L28 out of my old track car. It was remanufactured by Jasper Engines. They bored it .040 over, and installed all new internal parts. Comes with a powder coated valve cover and an Arizona ZCar racing aluminum oil pan. The engine ran super strong and has approximately 4,000 miles on it. I only removed it from the car to sell the car with its original engine. The engine alone was over $2,600 when I bought it. THIS IS FOR PICK UP ONLY IN ELKHORN, WI. 11. View Advert Series 1 Center Console This is a nice driver quality console. There are only a few minor stress cracks in the rear area, no big cracks. You won't see those once it is installed. Shipping will probably be about $40, due to an oversize box. Advertiser Marty Rogan Date 12/22/2020 Price $200.00 Category Parts for Sale

  13. Does anyone know where the Atlas lifts are made? I emailed them once and they never responded.
  14. I would think taking out a trans would be more difficult on a 4 poster. I have a race car that I am constantly doing brake work on. That would be easier on a 2 poster. Also, If I needed to drop the engine from underneath, that would be impossible with a 4 poster. Luckily, space is not a problem for me at this point, so I won't need it for storage.
  15. What brand is your lift, and do you like it?
  16. After multiple delays, the barn finally has heat!!!! I had a 150K BTU Modene heater installed in the corner. That should be plenty to make it toasty in there this winter. Now I can actually work on a car in the winter, vs just planning for work to be done in the spring. Next on the list is a 2 post lift. Has anybody heard anything good or bad about Olympic lifts?? I had not heard of them before. They have supposedly been around for 40 years. I saw a recent sale add that had some pretty good pricing. What kind of lift do you guys have?
  17. Hi, I just saw this post. Unfortunately, I no longer have that car, so I can't measure it for you. I don't recall where I got the braided lines from either. Sorry, Marty
  18. Well, I retired last month, so I finally had some time to build a work bench. I found a decent steel top, that was 8' x 3", which I ended up getting for free. Used 4"x4"'s for the uprights and 2"x4"s to tie it all together. Used 3/4" plywood for the shelf. I made the bench extra high so that I don't have to bend over to work on stuff. Also put it on casters so that I could keep flexibility in the shop configuration. I also picked up a really nice tire rack, so I don't have stacks of tires all over the place anymore. I will be getting the heater put in in the next few weeks. The lift is planned for the spring. That will about take care of building the shop. Now I need to find a new car project to work on!!!
  19. I had them on my track as well. I did not have to add longer studs and never had a problem. I truly understand wanting the ability to swap out a caliper quickly. I never liked the idea of spacers on a car. Especially a track car.
  20. Wow, that is quite a collection!!
  21. I had the same problems when I mounted my Rewinds. I just ground the fin down and it was fine. Get the grinder out!
  22. I figured it would be expensive. I have about 2,300 square feet, so that would be pretty prohibitive for me. I will have to figure out something. With all of that shine, does it get slippery when wet? Looks fantastic!!
  23. Wow, that epoxy floor is so shiny, you can see 27th's reflect in it. Do you mind me asking how much the floor costed? I need to do something with my shop floor.
  24. Hey Chris, Did you finish that garage yet??
  25. Chicago and Suburbs covers a lot of ground. I can't tell from your location what part of the area you are in. I have used T&A Autobody in Lake Barrington (NW Suburb) for many years They have always done good work for me. Tell Archie I sent you. Marty
