  1. Carl....Yes the P90 and P79 are identical except for exhaust ports and liners in the P79.They boast the best quench of all the heads and according to Doc, allow a better "burn". I believe that they are referred to as the "peanut heads". Guy
  2. I agree....my L28's build more power, but the L24's rev higher and are more fun to drive (IMO). I'm currenly building a similar engine...L24 bored .040 over....E31 with L28 valves (similar to your setup) ,throw in a Isky Stage II and voila....I can't wait to fire it up!!

  5. When I ordered my brakes from Arizona Z Dave sent me hardware that worked with 240z hubs. You need to specify which hubs you've got when you order because of the different offsets. I bought the Willwoods.

  9. Warren.....Thanks for the pics....I think the 205-55-16 is the best choice for the 16x7" rim (no offset). Beautiful Z .....silver's my favorite color!

  11. one with 205-50-16's one with 225-50-16's and one soon to have 205-55-16's which I think will be the perfect size (anyone running 205-55-16's that can comment on that tire?)

  14. Here's an update on the camber plate installation......I didn't dare put 'em on top......didn't want to take the verbal abuse from you guys!! Will post the pics of the coilovers and brakes later. Thanks for your advice. Guy
  15. Bruce......All 4 sets I've purchased were from Z Therapy and I must say they have been without a doubt......perfect! You've always delivered a product on time and as advertised. We give you a hard time sometimes but we appreciate the high quality of your product.....Thank You!!! Oh by the way Marty.....We masked off everything very well...glass beaded and painted with mag wheel paint.
  16. Carl......We did the dyno test with the SM's and an A/F meter and recorder. I'm not an expert, but my friend doing the dyno said the A/F was absolutely perfect through the entire rpm band. The only area it was running slightly rich was at idle. W/O the air cleaner we were running slightly lean at 7,000 r.p.m. I've got the chart on A/F if you need to know any specifics at different rpm. His comment was that even fuel injection doesn't run a better A/F than the L28 did! Guy
  17. Carl......I agree, but try to find 215-50-16......I only found one tire and I can't remember who made it, but remember it was ugly! The 205-55-16 is 24.9" tall and 8.1" wide; The 215-50-16 is 24.5" tall and 8.5" wide;The 205-50-16 is 24.1" tall and 8.1" wide, while the 225-50-16 is 24.9" tall and 8.9" wide.

  19. Jeff......You can notch the front valence at the bolt nearest the wheel and get some adjustment w/o cutting metal. The 225's look awesome, but have some limitations. Can't wait to try the 205-55-16's. Guy
  20. Jeff......Appreciate the comeback......I think I will need to go to a 205-55-16 tire......I'm running 225-50-16's now on the green Z. I only rub when bottoming out or turning hard in reverse (rubs front valence). I've got 205-50-16's on the white car.....that tire is .8" shorter and almost an inch narrower than the 225's. The 205-55-16's should do the trick, and on the street the narrower tire doesn't tend to wander as much. It is important for future Panasport buyers to have the facts on offset before they buy. Trial and error is an expensive way to learn!!!!
  21. They're all 180 degree thermostats also.
  22. Faulty from the factory is my bet......there ain't enough pressure to bend it. Put it back together with a new thermostat.....then try it. If that doesn't fix it, go forth with radiator etc. Don't just start replacing stuff, that gets expensive. I don't blame you on the gauge....all my Z's (3) run dead in the middle and that's in a hot Virginia climate.....3/4's doesn't get it!
  23. Drilling out aluminum is tricky.......a good machine shop can put heli-coil insert threads in.......better than new and low cost!
