  2. Hope this helps! 1. This photo is of a 1973 with 14,000 original miles for sale on ebay back in January. If you look real hard, you'll see the "OK" sticker on the passenger side quarter window. 2. This picture shows where the silver radiator coolant decal goes on the fan protector. Also, you can see the small kind of orange colored "Nihon" radiator decal right next to the top hose. This photo is of my 1973 Z taken back in 1992. 3. The engine close up is of a 1972 Z Store car taken at the MSA show back in 2002. The photo shows where the air cleaner decals are placed.
  3. If you are still looking for seat spacers, there's a set for sale right now on ebay. **CLICK HERE***
  4. Page 4 of the 1970 240Z Sales Brochure posted on www.zhome.com shows a photograph where one can see the black lock knob on top of the passenger door panel. 1970 240Z Sales Brochure Maybe it broke on this car and they didn't bother to fix it.
  5. JC Whitney sells what you are looking for. CLICK HERE
  6. My Z was produced on 12/71, and the single relay just above the hood latch is identified with the letters H, B, and S at the plug-in points. H = solid green wire B = green wire with a red stripe S = green wire with a black stripe
  7. Les' Web site put the total at 40. I reckon that figure includes all shops that had the contract with Nissan. Click Here The Classic Datsun Z Restoration Program The Classic Datsun Z restoration project began in 1997 as an offshoot of our involvement with Nissan's Z Store project and our renown Roadster restoration service. On 10/31/98, Nissan officially ended the Z Store project after only 40 of the 250 planned cars. On a side note: I recall seeing a semi-completed dark green 1970 on ebay about a year ago. I think the high bid for it was about $7500.00, which didn't meet the reserve. Not sure what ever happend to it

  12. Back in 1991, I converted my 73 from flats to rounds and was able to use my stock air cleaner. Motorsport Auto use to sell an adapter kit. From what I remember it consisted mainly of a plate with shallow flat screws that attached to each SU allowing you to screw on the stock air cleaner. I did a quick scan of their catalog and couldn’t find it. Maybe a call or email to inquire if they still carry the adapter might be worth it.

  16. I see them up for auction all the time on eBay. In fact, I saw a set with a "Buy it Now" price of around $50.00 this past weekend. Not sure if you'll be able to get someone to break up a set though.
  17. What a nice pair of 10th anniversary 280ZXs up for auction! I haven’t seen a set of those Goodyear Wingfoot (precursor to the Goodyear Eagle line) tires since mine wore out back in the 1980’s. CLICK HERE Oh do I wish I had more $$$ and garage space :classic:
  18. I am debating on switching my current stock E88 intake manifold and balance tube with an E46 manifold and E41 tube on my bone stock 72. I have to admit part of me would like to get rid of the air pump and the rest of the associated plumbing and replace it with the cleaner setup that would include a set of headers. Has anyone here made a switch like the one I’m contemplating and regretted it?
  19. My heart and prayers go out to you.

  21. All those items mentioned seem not to be on this vehicle. My bet is the car is actually a late '71. It would have been nice if the seller included the VIN number or at least a picutre of the data plate in the ad
