  1. I decided to go a easier softer route - used the factory base, adding standard cube relay sockets that will be secured in the factory relay cover, so easy to replace the part that could wear, without dealing with rewiring the harness Plugged in to test - make sure my wiring is correct before dealing with the other side Cutting the cover Removed the 2nd coil, more to come.
  2. If you haven't located a good cannister that will fit without modifications, I could sell one of the two I have - both work. I don't need 2. I'd want more for the original Datsun, vs. the Volvo/GM version. May depend on where you live as far as shipping goes, it's quite large & weighs a few pounds. You can message me if you are interested.
  3. I wish all you lucky rascals a great day! My dog is laying beside me I bed and that makes me happy. I can't imagine something that could tell me happy fathers day. Enjoy the day Dads!
  4. You could buy this in bulk and sell the rest online to z fans in the us and europe 😄

  7. The check valve for the tank vent is right in the middle of the cross member near the diff. IIRC.
  8. The other typical fuel smell source is the exhaust. It gets pulled through various small gaps in the back. Ironically, gets worse with the windows down, the pressure differential changes. The biggest improvement seems to come from sealing the edges of the vinyl covered panel on the hatch lid. The fumes get sucked in around the latch and the two holes on the corners. The other biggy is the tailight gaskets.
  9. Oh wow, I had the paint matched by a paint shop using the alternator bracket as a sample.
  10. Thanks Patcon! I am enjoying to see your restoration of your 240Z, keep good work! Kats PS Nissan blue is still available from local dealership or some internet vendors. You can order with the parts number 10128-90026. Or in Japan only?
