  2. Ordered a Rebello 3.0 stroker Sent from my SM-T350 using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  3. Well there is not too much to it, you can do springs in between the bars if you like. The plastic wheels are off those clothesline thingys, I looked for the old kind with the aluminum wheels but my local hardware store didn't carry them. The welded piece on the bottom is some scrap that I put on so it could be held in a vice.
  4. S30Driver and I have resurrected a long (40+ year) dormant Datsun AM self seeking radio on this first day of 2017. This 4 minute video should fill in the details of this exceptionally exiteing event--- Many thanks and great gratitude to Jim 2 for his technical and production skills in making this happen! WOOO HOOO!! Here's the video-----
  5. Who's going to build one of these in 2017 ?
  6. Buy it from the vendor where you found that picture. He is an active member here...
  7. Do the resistance and voltage testing at the ECU connector before you get too crazy with cleaning. After the cleaning, you'll get the satisfaction of knowing you made something better or the agony of knowing that you broke something that was fine. Both good reasons to have a beer.
  8. 1 point
My '72 will be 45 & my '77 40 years old next year, wu who. Better go on and celebrate tonight. HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone! Looks like Clemson will be national champions.
  9. Siteunseen, Thanks for bringing that up. On my filler hose, the #18 line you refer to has been shut off by someone at some time. The plastic fitting #14 appears to have been heated to the point of melting, then crimped shut. As between you and Dennis, this is becoming more interesting / confusing. If the reservoir is meant to catch fill-up overflow via Line 18, then I should make very sure the tank is sound. Or, if we ditch Line 18, as appears to have been done on my car, one would have to be very careful on refueling. Another thought with respect to the reservoir - if I patch-repair it as has been suggested, would the application of a fuel-tank slush compound (as I have already done on the fuel tank), ensure a good seal? And yes, I should track down the "young fella who lives just south" (about 1.5 hour drive). This is my first 240Z project, and it sounds like he has vast experience. This proving to be an interesting conversation.
  10. Only thing that has changed is that I got rid of my dizzy and coil since going with Megasquirt. Voltmeter on the sensor wires gives an erratic volt reading. I tried looking at the schematic and it's not making sense. Maybe gauge when tits up, but the timing of this issue makes me think it's something I did. Any clues?
  11. What I've got is a 240z with an L28ET swap that I'm re-doing. The previous owner didn't use the stock guages so that part of the wiring is gone. I've got everything hooked up except for the water temp sensor. I know where the temp sensor runs to in the turbo harness. What I'm after is where the stock guage wiring runs through firewall into the engine bay.
