  1. It's been 6 months sitting in a storage unit. After some great thanksgiving family time, I pulled the Z out and dusted her off. A few pounds of air in the tires and a tank of super, I was off with my son. Best part of the ride is when my son looks at me and says "don't ever sell this car". 2. Changed the rear spoiler to body color. I like it better.
  3. My 2 year old granddaughter likes to go for "rides" in the garage in mine. She " drives" for a while the wants me to "drive". We put the seat belts on, too. She loves to turn the lights on and off, put the radio antenna up and down and look through the glove box. Also loves to get in the back and hang out. When I had my car gone for some work she came into the garage and gave me the "look"..." Grampa, where's my car?" I was thinking of selling it, but I'm not so sure now. Another Z car generation. Gotta love it. Cheers, Mike
  4. They need a paramedic on hand here. Carrying an engine on your back? Last 2 guys with the pipe. OH HELL NO.
  5. Is it possible to rent a big brute who can carry off a 240Z? If it is that would be the cheapest Z in history.
  6. The most expensive car you will ever own is an inexpensive German car.....
  7. I'm trying to bleed the rear shoe brakes on a "71". It was sitting for over ten years and the master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders pistons were frozen, I have honed and rebuilt each. I am trying to use a hand vacuum pump to pull the hydro fluid from the master cylinder but it will not work. My question is: will the pump pull the fluid past the proportioning valve between the rear wheels or must it have pressure from the master cylinder? I am concerned about the proportioning valve also being frozen .Does anyone have any ideas or experience with a vacuum pump in this application?
  8. Classic 240Z's have a "Less is More" appeal to me. Less whale tails and wild paint, more handling components a subtle mods is the way to go.... IMHO
