  1. Hi everyone I want to apologize and explain to the members that have been patiently waiting for their parts. My wife Kathy has been very ill and has been in ICU. We thought everything was improving until a test came back that put everything into doubt. Now she is being moved to the main hospital to undergo more testing. As soon as life starts to return to normal I'll get back on the parts. Thank you everyone for your patience and please remember Kathy in your prayers. Mark
  2. Absolutely no need to apologize Mark. Give Kathy all of you attention. Wishing the very, very best for Kathy.
  3. Don't confuse opening a fat wallet with getting value for what you pull out if it. And on a DIY-focused site, using bubble gum and kite string to get a job done right should be lauded. It's why we're here.
  4. The Bosch pumps seem to be a bit beter for wear than the Hitachi model. Its hard to tell them apart. They look the same, but they are NOT. I have three, two hitachi's and one bosch. Both hitachi's show signs of wear and one out was out of a 280zx with 76,000 km. The bosch has almost 180,000km but in remarkably good condition except for a leaking o-ring around the housing. Still trying to gather the courage to pry it open and change the o-ring. The motor section is none servicable. If you do dismantle the pump, pay particular attention to the position and direction of the centre disc. The hole in the centre for the pump is offset about 2mm iirc. Changing position or flipping it over will effect performance.
  5. Yes - I've been running the exact same one on my 1978 280Z for about a month now.
  6. Not necessary today but in the last 2 weeks I ordered Sean Dezart's stainless steel headers and exhaust system from France for my 1977 280Z 2+2. Ordered black leather seat coverings (front and rear) and black leather door skins from Interiorinnovations. Pictures will come after I rebuild my engine and install them all.
  7. Not yet. It is in the mail and I have a tracking number. I will post some shots of the inside and sending unit when it arrives. The fuel pump assy is a spare basically. Unknown condition but the car it came from only had 50,000 miles on it.
  8. "I'm so excited and I just can't hide itI'm about to lose control and I think I like itI'm so excited and I just can't hide itAnd I know, I know, I know, I know, I know …"
  9. Unless that's a Morgan, something is seriously wrong with that picture. Dennis
  10. ...i want my baby back... (sorry, couldn't resist)
