Aren't those the one's that are hard to find and High dollar?

U. S never got skylines. There's been a company in California thetas been importing new one's for about 10 years. $55,000 is what they charge.

You would probably have to import one from Japan of Australia

Check E-beam the Japan and Australia version going to need a translator for Japan.

well they aren't the real high dollar ones like from the 60's that fetch over $100k but i know they didn't make very many and none of those made it here via nissan so i think your better off being struck by lighning than finding one for sale in the states...i found a pic of a 73' model it's the only one i could find

For a while, I dreamt of making a mock-up C110 Skyline out of a 72 or 73 610 (180B). But reality struck home when I learned more and found that they are not all that similar cars.

I still think the first couple years of 610's were cool, but there's not too much chance fitting an L-24 in place of the L-18!

We gringos remain deprived of LHD Skylines

There are a few of the members here that have them

If you ever really get the urge, they are not to hard to locate over here for the price range of about 500-4500, 2k could get you a pretty nice one, then youd need to ship it to you and the wheel would be on the wrong side, but still doable if you were desperate for one. Certainly be something different in the US I guess. Come to think of it they are getting a bit rare over here too.

Cheers Chris

Quansta,

A friend of mine brought a 1971 Skyline 4 door back from Japan when his tour was completed. Pics are here:

I have also included a link that might be of some help to you in identifying which Skyline that you are after:

http://history.jbskyline.net/

The model that you have pictured looks like a C110 series produced from '72 to '77. They call the KPGC110, or Kenmeri series also known as the "Ken and Mary" in some circles. If you have a chance there is a film series produced in Japan entitled the "Victor Memorial Series" and one episode deals with the early Skyline story and has a lot of in car action without music and the noise is glorious. Two ex-Nissan drivers pilot these cars around a racetrack at almost full chat.

The tape that I have also has the Fairlady ZG story and it is also great fun to watch.

Check out this link as well for more Skyline temptation:
