Posted April 12Apr 12 Popular Post comment_675654 Here's another great S30.world article, this time focusing on the development of the 'Euro' spec Datsun 240Z, exploring the circumstances which necessitated its creation and the people behind it.It includes some - precious! - original hand-written development note documents which we are privileged to have access to after all this time, thanks to our fellow member @kats Very nicely put together and written up by another of our fellow members here Nils @JDMjunkies.ch Tip of the hat to Florian at S30.world too. This is a topic not often acknowledged let alone discussed, and yet it is a fascinating window into a significant part of the S30-series Z's family tree. April 12Apr 12 comment_675655 Another great share, Alan. I caught a glimpse of the link to the article on Facebook, but I didn't have the time to click on it then.I know there are plenty of us who appreciate the chance to understand what was different in other markets and why. Thank you @JDMjunkies.ch for making the time to write the article. Without all of his relentless research, none of my article would have been possible.I hope you all enjoy the read. It's really a topic often overlooked in my opinion, as these cars are quite special. 4 hours ago4 hr comment_676193 Thanks for posting this. I am mid-stream in importing my 1977 280Z into Italy and will read this with great interest. There will be some mods I have to make to conform with EU road standards. 1 hour ago1 hr comment_676195 I have a early 1977 with the sloped rear deck. Mine was dated 9/76 and has some odd parts changes from that period on US spec cars.I'll share what I can and have many pics too. I learned a lot with this car.
