I am refurbishing a 240Z grill and need replacement outboard vertical struts, both sides.  On this grill, one is broken cleanly and the other is cracked.  So... if anyone has parted out a grill, lets make a deal.

Thanks.

Are they Aluminum or steel?

Pretty sure they are aluminum - very light, the cracked one flexes too easily for steel.

It might be easier to find someone in your area to TIG it up for you...

If I can't find replacements, I'll try that or consider bonding some sleeve material into the channel.  Thanks.

Skillard.com has replacements. Reasonable price too.

Thanks.  Just checked them - they have a complete grill but not the components.  No joy. :(

I'm here just busy.

I have several grills, but no separated spare components. Also have a TIG welder... Nevemind, too far away..

Aren't there a couple of different grill mounting arrangements? Early and late, for the 73 bumper brackets or something? Maybe I just make one of these things into a parts donor...

This one is out of a '73, looks identical to my '71 so I don't think there were any changes due to the bumper changes.  Thanks for checking.
