Boy, that needs a lot of work.

I glanced at the pictures quickly and came away with the opinion that this is a good original example.  I saw a lot of correct unique parts.  How do I see what the current bid is?

Oh, and the blurb about the hand throttle in the owner's manual is correct.  The original manuals had a blank paste-over.

No one has placed a bid on it yet.

I'm copying the pictures.  Lots of original stuff to talk about.  The hood is a shame.  That's an original hood and unique from all the rest.  Kats did a big expose' on early hood fabrication and the differences.

I noticed there were no tool bins, just covers for the jack and acc's.  Typical rust areas but I've seen a lot worse on 280's.  I think this will be high dollar.  GrannyKnot was the last winner.

Nope, no tool bins on an early car.  The jack tools, evidently, have never been used.  Looks like they are still in the original bag.  Man!  the underside is bashed!

I will guess $15K, needs at least $14K in paint and body.  We are in the middle of saving 2675; we are in for $14.5 paint and body, not to mention parts...etc..  I am watching it.

 

Are Bridgestones the OE tires for 240s?  I keep seeing them as the original spare. Mine has a "Metric" spare.
