i couldnt find a suitable 240Z so i opted for a Z that i never owned. a 280ZX

My first was a 280ZX I liked it. I still have a soft spot for them, but I like the first generation cars better.

I guess driving a good 280ZX may be better than having to deal with a 30 yr. old car that might have rust problems, Or maybe not.

Not bad for a ZX.

I could never do it myself. Too loyal to the original body style.

I've got to admit that I'm not a big fan of the ZX, but I really like yours!!! Balck is a good start, the kit on it is really nice, and the wheels rock! Hmm, maybe a daily driver like that would be cool!

Well my first two Z's were 280ZX's as well. Good for you. You'll notiuce the rear shocks are alot easier to swap out too. Three bolts on top and one on bottom.

my introduction to the Z world was in a ZX. my dad bought a brand new one in 79 (the ZX in my photo gallery). would have been my first car, but he sold it in 1986 (6 months before I started driving)

taught a friend of mine to drive in her 83 2+2.

it wasn't till I got older and wiser that I got my 1st gen.

my wife helped bring me back on the right path. her 1st car was a 77 280 (also pictured in my photo gallery)

don't get me wrong, I wouldn't turn down a 5 speed 83 turbo... I'd take the tranny and engine and drop it in my 78 !!!
