However once you get it running the value bumps to $1200. Thats for my '74 260z. I doubt there'd be much variance in the numbers

That is cheap in my opinion. 

Im not sure why the 260z doesn't  have the same desirability as others.  It seems even the 280z are more popular. It might because 74 wasn't a great year and there was only 1 year of the model.

Original Equipment Manufacturer. Every single part was meant to be on that car. Its rare to find older cars that have all original, numbers matching parts in it
