Sad news indeed.  I knew John on this site as well as personally.  I attended his Beta Motorsports/Vintage Motors car show on a yearly basis until about three years ago. 

Good to hear from you Mr. Blake.  It's been a while.

Sad sad news!!  I just read about it here, thanks for sending.  John was a frequent user of the site and our club...  (sigh) life is certainly too short.  

During my few years as a Z owner, always seeking ways to get more than stock performance from fairly stock systems, I've studied many posts from J.C. on this site and elsewhere. Many conversations were over my head, but those are just the sort of posts that encourage more study, and eventually understanding. People with this depth of experience and knowledge, that are glad to share it, are of great value to us all.

Wow Galaxybj, I know that road very well.  I guess all things considered, I'm glad to read it was a single vehicle accident.  Somehow, I find it easier to stomach knowing he was having fun at the limit rather than getting hit by a distracted driver.  

So sad to hear about our dear friend.  He stopped by the shop weekly.  He was always so helpful and just an all around great guy to talk to.  He will be missed by the whole team here.  It was great to see his last project he was working on as well.
