Mini-restoration project for 2016

I removed my P90 head off my 1974 260z (N42) and I installed a polished E88, with performance cam, to raise the compression.  Tomorrow I'm installing the ceramic coated 3-2 header and rebuilding my dual webers.  Hopefully it will work nice with my 4.10 rear gears and 5 speed trans.  This is how I'm spending my two week Christmas vacation.  I hope to get everything completed before I go back to work.

It's already been one full year, where has the time go? I'm working on my son's '70 240Z.  Luckily we found an OEM driver's side inner fender in Vermont and got it in time for Christmas! Replacing the inner fender and frame rail.

Nice work!  I did that on my '78 about 25 years ago.

Drove the 280 and found this cup washer and nut in my driveway when I got back home.  Luckily the bushing hadn't fallen off yet, it was really close though, got lucky!  I'll put it back on with some red Loctite then do the other side as well just to be sure.

 

I lost a TC nut and bushing once as well.  I too now Loctite them.

 I also lost one years ago now I double nut them .

Sorry to have to say this but .....didn't do anything, we're in Florida.

Almost Feb and finally got the heat sorted out. Chasing vac lines on a 77' boggles my simple mind, but Toasty heat with great defrost action was worth it!
