I always enjoyed doing metal fab. I'm impressed with your work and also enjoying the pics.
I like metal stuff so much I bought a TIG to start messing with aluminum.

Thanks! I am enjoying the metal work more than I thought I would. I figure the more pics I take, the better reference for later on as well as to help others in the same process as me.
I would like a TIG at home but I have access to some nice stuff at work, so as long as the piece is portable, I can do it there.
Thanks for the feedback! Nice to know people are following along...

Careful with those grinder blades! I found out the hard way they will cut the stuffing out of you....

We left it as a reminder...

I was cutting a panel 2 or 3 years ago while squatted down beside the car with a 4" grinder with a 1/16th disc. It kicked back and hit me at the end of the quad. Split it right open about 2" long. Still have a nice scar complete with black coloration...

6" grinder with a 12amp motor has better control... less kickback and more smooth thru various thicknesses.

Yes, probably. As I get older I don't heal as well or as fast so I have become more cautious with these sort of things

Corner fixed. Not pretty but solid and no rust. It will look better after body work!
