Ha ha. Another reason why Flash should be permenantly banned from the internet. I'll wait for a decent html version. Flash sux. Sure it's good for little logos and stuff, but I really hate it when people make whole sites out of it. What? cant they program a little javascript? Make a little HTML?

Flash should be abandoned? Or should we look at abandoning dial-up?! For the cost of two phone lines, you can have a nice fat pipe to the internet. Broadband is $40/month in most areas and I still can't believe people use the dia-up approach.

C'mon people! Catch up! You can even get internet on your cell phone now. Not to mention pictures, games, GPS, play songs, etc......

Take your cable television (or satellite) bill and cancel the service. Who needs TV. Well, at least keep the Discovery Channel and Speed Vision subscription.

Just what I need...........another $40 a month (at least) sucked from my budget just because some website developer wants me to experience all of his bells and whistles! :tapemouth Just give me information! I don't need the "frosting" on the cake!

It's hard enough to fund all of my Z wants & needs and everything else that comes up. Of course, if someone wants to buy it for me.........(I still wouldn't want the "frosting"!)

From what I saw you're not missing too much from z.com. Only thing of value I saw was the road and track finder. The rest is a not much more than a 350Z ad.

I have DSL at the gallery...I want to check out the 'recing history' videos...

Yea, seems like a lot of sites are going to that dark background with lighter text. It's ok, but, I prefer the lighter sites. I guess it all depends on the theme or overall perception of the site content.

I understand about the budget thing... just givin all of you a hard time. :cheeky: Me? Internet connection is one of the top on my budget list. It never gets cut. Probably because I don't have a life.

z.com bit booring and flat all the grey....Must check out those vids at work... No patience...

We have pretty much different kind of connections available here in Finland.

Kabelmodem that uses tv-kabel.....256kbps/256kbps 52 eur/month(dollar is almost 1to1 with eur)

I personally use gprs connection at home and on road. I have Motorola 720 and a Fujitsu laptop for work and fun=). Gprs cost is only 16 eur/month. Speed is 115 kbps....
