What classic car is this?

Featured Replies

I want to say alfa, but I am not sure...

Can any of you guys help me out.

That has to be one of the most beautiful roadsters I have ever seen.

Alpha duetto. I believe it is a '67-'69. Pininfarina design, was ahead of its time. It is quite a departure from the classic roadster look of the 60's (i.e. Datsun, Triumph, Fiat, The Alpha Veloce that preceeded it etc).

The American versions had the mechanical fuel injection, which was pretty advanced for its time, though the carb'd versions are more sought after.

Later years had uncovered headlights and a truncated rear. The early ones with the rear you pictured and headlight covers are best.

did some digging, this is a 66 Duetto....

Pure pornagraphy. And my love affair with Alfas, continues...

Nice, that's a car from the New Years ("Anti-Football") classic car run I went on! I remember seeing that Alfa (among many others), along with an eye-shattering amount of car porn! Too bad my camera sucks, and I took few pictures because I was going on 2.5hrs of sleep...

I'll just leave a few teasers, from our mini-convoy:

Italian cars and Italian women... beautiful to see, wonderful to touch. Their personalities can sometimes be a bit challenging to live with. When all is said and done, a session with either will leave you with a smile of contentment and looking forward to the next interlude.

Is that Scotty from Star Trek checking out the Alpha? Must have just beamed down to check it out.

People. It's ALFA ROMEO, not ALPHA ROMEO. Please.

Oops. At least we didn't call it a beta.

A Beta is a Lancia, not an Alfa. ;):D

Not that long ago I saw a reference to an "Austin Martin".... sigh.

In 1980 my brother found an unusual car & bought it for $800. It is a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider Veloce. Another sexy Pininfarina body. It is still in his garage, in pieces, waiting for me to acquire, someday, maybe. :)
