Dream Garage Poster

Featured Replies

Anyone have the Dream Garage image in their computer that could be put up here?? There are enough new Datsun owners here who would love to see apiece from NISSAN's hay day......

An awful lot of automotive history in that photo. It's really interesting to read the individual histories of each vehicle across the bottom...... Thanks for digging that up.

If you're interested, I have a video in the photo galleries of the construction of the set used in the Dream garage commercial. Look under George71Z.

Thanks George! That's pretty cool. I'm a big fan of the Dream Garage campaign and I had not seen that video.

There's this dream garage commercial that's also on the Z Car Micrifiche CD.

I bought one on the bay and gave it to my dad (diseazd). It's now right in front of the 4 post lift :)

I 'm under the impression that this ad campaign got dumped because of complaints that it promoted "pedophelia".:stupid::stupid::mad::angry:

In the mid-90s, Nissan's young (mostly Ford and GM) suits were at a meeting out west with car dealers and offered the very vehicles up for sale at deep discount ("to get rid of all that junk"). As one dealer told me they'd like if it all go away since "Datsun" and any race history was unwanted in the new Nissan.

He purchased the GTP ZX-T and the Baja truck.

I have to say this is one of my favorite banners in my garage. 3'x8' makes the picture even sweeter!!
