I've been a Rush fan since 2112. Went to the 2112 and Moving Picture tour shows. For some reason they didn't get much respect from the rock and roll media until the last few years. Its about time.

Maybe it's because Geddy Lee sings like a bleating goat. Only more goat-like lead singer I've heard is the guy from Budgie, Burke Shelley. Metallica has covered a couple of their songs, Breadfan and Crash Course in Brain Surgery. If you know those songs, these originals are a trip.

Thumbs up on the Budgie. Great stuff! Been a Rush fan since I got the Moving Pictures cassette around its release. I played it on my old-school tape recorder until I figured out how to twist wires to a mini-jack and have the mono recorder sound output to two wall speakers that I had found in the dump. I have seen every tour since then.

I was browsing around Amazon for some book for Christmas, and I typed in Datsun 280Z, and it found a song by that name from Heloise & the Savior Faire. It's not a bad song, but not from the classic rock style either.
