Ive been searching for a 70-73 240z, and have come up with nothing. So ive decided to broaden my search, and start looking for a 280 as well. I cant stand the 5 mph bumpers and Ive learned that the bumpers from the 240 are able to fit the 280 with a little fabricating. Is that true? Also, does anyone know if the fender wells from the 280 are exactly the same as the 240? Reason why is that theres a shop here in the states that custom fabricated some fender flares for a 240, and has molds. So i just wanna make sure that they will fit a 280 as well. If there are any big differences that anyone knows of between these cars (physical feature wise), please let me know. Thank you.

Scott, I'm just down the freeway in the Eugene-area, and I've not found 240Zs to be all that hard to find in Oregon. Are you looking for something special? What are your criteria?

Pelican Auto Sales/One Stop yard in Klamath Falls has a ZX and 3 other Zs. They're in the u-pick yard but I have to wonder if a determined person could get one good car out of them.

You folks in the west and northwest are so darned lucky. Houston is TOTALLY void of any S30s.

Scott, I'm not sure how much you want to spend or how far you want to go, but I keep coming across 240's in various stages of completion in the Los Angeles area Craig's List.

not too many s30's here in sc either.
