Mike,

You must have read my mind..I was just thinking of the same question, and was about to put up a poll when I saw yours..I just assumed that we were all of the Alpha male type 'round here..If there are any ladies speak out and be known.

Ya, I'm assuming that a majority of our membership is male. The editors of Sport Z Magazine were telling me that their audience is something like 95% male as well. I just wanted to know what the stats were like here on the site. I'm not going to use the information for anything in particular. It's just a curiosity thing.

The voting booth is completely anonymous, so, there's no way to track the information back to a person anyway.

male. the majority of the z's i've see driving around have been driven by women, tho'. there was the green 260 up in tahoe, the tan 240 on the freeway, the blue 280 on the other freeway, the purple (yech) one getting the ticket, yep, all women.

"...the purple (yech) one getting the ticket...".

Think the color had anything to do with the ticket??

Male as well but the first time I met my girlfriend my Z caught her attention first so I guess its owned by a male and female now.

I had a feeling that I might be a little outnumbered...not completely outnumbered. Well, at least I know where to turn to if I run into any major problems with the restoration of my recently purchased 1973 240Z LOL. I guess I am trying to prove to "the guys" that some ladies are Z car nuts too.

Wow! What a lopsided poll. Too bad there aren't more women that enjoy Z's. Or maybe they are out driving them instead of talking about them here? :)

Back before I was married I swore I would only marry a women that loved cars, almost as much as I did.

Standing in the magazive section of Barnes and Nobles one fine day, I saw a very goodlooking woman reaching for a HotRod magazine. Bells and whistles, they were all going off, Make your move TS, my fumbling mind was yelling. SO I walk straight up to her and very cool like said; "You Drive"?

Needless to say since there was not a single more STUPID question I could have asked, I followed it with an attempted recovery of "I mean, ya know, HotRods". WOW, you could hear the flack falling away from my bullet ridden fusalage as she shot me down, with a series of "are you still here" glances.

Needless to say I married another girl.

I love her to death, the last time I showed her a picture of an EB series Buggatti, she looked at me and say, "thats a pretty blue".

I'm all alone in the world!

Oh, that's an EXCELLENT story!! Why did you stop? Pick up your ego and keep it rolling.............

If she was really your dream girl, it wouldn't have worked out anyway. Sounds to me like she was S-L-O-W... :cheeky:

It was in a former gf's 280z (parked on the side of a one-lane country road), with the t-tops off. Those bicyclists that passed by sure got a surprise!

And to think, until i saw this poll, I'd forgotten about that episode!

edit: I know, this is NOT what you meant here, but I couldn't resist!

It isn't what it used to be.... must have something to do with being 40.  :devious:

Back seat of a 73 Plymouth Cuda was even worse than a Z!

MY Z is definetly female. It doesn't want to go out in bad weather. It won't sleep outside, only in the house(attached garage)under a nice warm blanket.Loves for me to spend money on her.Must have a bath at the slightest sign of dirt.It has a very good way of testing that fine line between love and hate. All my male friends wish they could have their way with her for a few hours!ROFL Daniel

Female. It is kind of lonely being a female Z-car lover. The only people I know who understand how I feel about my car are my youngest son (fellow Z-fanatic) and all you wonderful people on this site. When I am talking to anyone else about my car, and let my feelings begin to show, they look at me like I am crazy, and some have said, "it's only a car." They just don't understand.

P.S. My car is a stick. As far as I am concerned, an automatic isn't a Z!!
