    Style 1
  6. wow, 1 season / year car I guess
  7. Do you know how much power that z has?
  8. The Kit car accessories are genuine Ferrari badges, I do agree with you that Ferrari does not like people ripping of their cars and usually takes legal action on anyone selling replications of their cars.
  9. http://www.kitcaraccessories.com/ - just bought a whole bunch of emblems from them others: http://www.ferraripartsexchange.com/emblems.htm http://www.hdrogers.com/ferrari.html http://www.tronpaolo.it/objects.htm
  10. Lots of manufactures that make these kits, don't think any are conversions from Z's: http://www.daytona-coupe.com/photographs/photographs.html http://www.kitcarprofile.com/Profile_11_Cobra_Daytona.html http://www.factoryfive.com/table/ffrkits/coupe/coupekit.html http://members.aol.com/COUPECHUCK/index.htm To name but a few What about a Ferrari GTO z conversion, lots of those about
  11. I personally like the V8 idea and would have preferred a V8 in my 240 except for the extra weight and extra setup requirements like suspension, breaks, gearbox, drive shaft, diff, chassis strength. Plus no one would insure me. With a straight 6 conversion you don't 'need' to do these and the weight generally stays the same.

well not wanting to sound sexist but the majority of these hotties have no idea, my 240 was once referred to as 'is that the same as Mitch's car?' Mitch's car being a Capri.

Good points but if your in an area where some specific cars are very commonly done up (badly), you begin to 'hate' them. Not saying that this is appropriate behaviour for replying to threads but sometimes it slips out. No offence intended.

Zed and hmsports, Do you know if the Subaru diff's fit the z's half shafts? Thanks
  15. Ivan replied to carguyinok's topic in Help Me !!
a drill with a rust / paing remover will get rid of it easily
  16. I'm going down the same path at the moment as well (with focus on the LSD rather than ratio), if you find any info please post it. There are R180 LSD's, just about every 510 owner seems to have one, they seem to get a lot of the R180 LSD diff's from Subaru's. Don't know if they will fit. I have found one place that makes the LSD internals to fit into z R180's: http://members.optushome.com.au/amaxeng/five10/diff.htm But it is really expensive
  17. Howstuffworks.com - a great site: Tourque = http://www.howstuffworks.com/question622.htm HP = http://www.howstuffworks.com/horsepower1.htm
  18. thats torque in lbft
  19. nice, (I really don't like Honda's)
  20. (Torque x Engine speed) / 5,252 = Horsepower
  21. Ivan replied to Ivan's topic in Suspension & Steering
also I have noticed about every 510 owner has an R180 LSD, a lot of them from Subaru's, does anyone know if the same conversion will work for a Z? Thanks
  22. Ivan posted a topic in Suspension & Steering
I have seen a few sites mention R180 LSD, does anyone know where you get these from?
  23. you defiantly need a cam that supports triple carbs or the carbs will only preform as good as twin carbs
  24. VR engineering sold bits to do this (along with z's and kit cars): http://www.kitcarz.com./zxspyder.htm but they are currently selling their co.
  25. I always thought the newer heads were better like the P90's and N42's. as they had better flow and bigger valves
