In Speed Starring Keanu Reaves and Sandra Bullock there's 2 Z's a 240z and a 280zx. The 240z is seen around the start of the movie when there's lots of highway action and keanu first get's on the bus. The 280zx is on a tow truck and the bus actually knocks it off and over the truck and it smashes hard on the ground shame really as it was in good condition and would have bent the chassis like a banana. Hey Big Mac I used to own a 2+2 and have the biggest soft spot for them there awesome. I also live in AUS but in Melbourne. I don't spose you know of any Z's 2+2 in the same quality range as yours for sale??? I hate looking in the trading post as most of the stuff is garbage even if it is where I got my 240z. If you WERE going to sell your Z how much would you say roughly it's worth? in AU$. If you prefer not to say that's cool I can understand that. Gav,

I hated it at first wasn't a true Z to me. I'm a hardcore die hard old skool car fan. But after more and more photo's and comments on the car I'm starting to see potential. I always like to say this to doubters wait till they make a sexy body kit for it. I'm only disappointed it's a V6 and not a straight 6 and that they arn't planing on a turbo version yet Gav

Is it just me or are there other's out there who think the 2+2 has a better shape on certain angles than the 2 seaters?

In Aus I know that you can get a gnose from a place called Zworx based in melbourne they go for around $700 and there the 7 piece replica not the yukky 3 piece that Zshop sells well at least I think they sell that one. I don't have the number on me but if you wait I can post it up when I'm at home for you so that you can give them a call the guys name is Warren. Hey guys I am still downloading this movie but from what I've seen it's cool I read through the whole post and thought I'd add some of my 0.02 cents. Firstly I've seen the earliest 240z no wait touched the earliest Z it's number 44 I believe and it's orange and in good condiiton full restored If I had the money I'd buy it. Second in Gran Turismo it's a Fairlady 240zg with the full ZG kit. You can also find the original Skyline GTR in the game too. Recently I've been looking into the original 240z's sold in Japan and I really wanna restore my 240z with a gnose and am considering the wheel flares etc. I just love sometihng about them. I mangaged to find some rare ZG pics from jap webpages which i was reallly pleased about. THe more I read about these cars the more I love them there is so much about them that makes me wish I was born 40 years ago. I also bought 2 model Datsun's recently both ZG's one is made of metal and is 1/24 the orig size and pre assembled cost me $110 AUSSie bux the other was a kit you can make yourself and paint it from the shell up I ran out of paint but so it's not done yet. Hey what's the diff between a Pop Off Valve and Blow Off Valve? If there's no difference am I to assume that blow off valve's or Pop off valve came stock on 280zxT's? I know that SAAB and Volvo I think have been using them for a long time. Thanks,

Hey Darren tell us more about this RB30 with a Twin Cam head conversion like how much it would cost all up to stick it into a Z. I'm currently considering working an L28 Motor to around 200kw at the wheels but I've also considered the cost and how much cheaper It would be just to buy a RB26DETT and engineer that to my Z. I'm looking for a rough quote not a completely worked RB30. Any ideas.. Thanks, Gav,
