What kind of wheels are these?
They remind me of the wheels on a mates KGC10(see pic), bought in Tokyo with similar wheels on it, 15x8, and the only ident we could see was SSR? Or Could be an older ENKEI?
- Proof of the C110!!

300 miles without missing a beat!!
The difference is because a US Gallon is equal to 3.8 litres, where the imperial (what the rest of use) is equal to 4.54 litres. Why is this so?? (apologies to Prof. Julius Sumner-Miller...! Who here is old enough to remember him? ) When I bought my 240K auto last June, I paid my $700, drove it 1100+ klms home for an average of 29mpg...didn't miss a beat, still hasn't 12000K's later, with an average of 430 K's per tank, or about 24mpg around Sydney! These Nissan sixes really are a good motor. Even the C10, with the triple Mikunis, lumpy cam and short diff gears gave 23 mpg Melbourne - Sydney, around 900 K's I'm happy. Jim.

Datsun 140Z.... Yes 140Z
Around 1974 there was a JDM Datsun Sunny Coupe 1400 GX , badged "Excellent GX". 1.4 litres twin SU type carbies, 95bhp and 875 kilos . Aimed at those that could not afford a 240Z but still wanted the features. Very similar to these South African coupes. Jim.

OT: 1968 Honda S800 for sale!
Hey Coastie, I thought ragtop was any softop car....and a cabriolet was the centre section slidin' back?? leavin' the sides in place?? I must admit I'm just throwin' around terms I've heard over the years!! regardless... I've never seen a convertible that didn't look better as a hard top.. Frinstance...a ' 67 Corvette, a softop with its lid up or down wouldn't rate parked beside a coupe of the same vintage, to me anyway(btw I'm 47years old ) Jim.

87000-U0175 Datsun Competition seat
I have a Corbeau equipe rally seat in the shed . It was given to me by a mate who bought it in 1974 for his 240K. It is similar to your pics Ben, but has higher sides with cut outs for a harness. I actually grabbed it out of his fishing boat for a driving simulator I was building last year. It'll probably end up in the KGC10 now though.....I'll get it out for some pics if anybody is interested....

OT: 1968 Honda S800 for sale!
C'mon Mr Cammo!!! attention to detail!! The ad clearly states an S800 coupe! 600 cc was earlier. They had a diff driven by a prop shaft. Those extra 200cc's did make a different beast!! The prop shaft was driven off a duplex chain drive out of the gearbox. Gimme a coupe anyday... ragtops suck, big time!! Back in my tech days we had one of the 600s happily running to 11000 RPM ......all the power of a thousand startled butterflies

Nissan Datsun Nationals Easter 2005
OK guys, how many C110's are rock up to this one? I'm sure you've seen the original post in Regional Discussions. I think it's a great opportunity to further and foster interest in your chosen model. I know it's a long haul for most here, but think of it as an adventure . The C110 is thin enough on the ground these days, so to have a few show up would really turn some heads. So start thinking of reasons NOT to go now....and work on eliminating those lame excuses before the end of January so you've got plenty of time to plan to get along and meet up with the other shining examples of C110 ownership....waddayareckon??? Jim.

Toyota 2000GT interest
It was called the "Holden GTR-X" Rick, I've got a sales brochure and assorted pics around here somewhere...I'll see what I can find, here ya go I snaffled these of a google image search, much easier!! This thing was a fibreglass shelled car. I remember reading one of the reasons it was killed off was the release of the 240Z in Australia. They didn't believe it could compete price wise. Performance was no problem. A 3 litre triple Stromberg CD150 fed with a lumpy cam and real headers, and bugger all weight!....If only.. Jim.

2005 Nissan Datsun Nationals Goulburn NSW
The owner of the other KGC10 in Sydney is keen to attend also. His is on full NSW rego. My Problem is my KGC10 is unregistered at the moment, I don't want full rego as this requires some changes to the car I don't particularly want to make. So, I need to get club (conditional) rego. To get this I need to be in a club that is RTA recognized. As far as I can tell the only "like minded" club that fits the bill is the Sydney Z car club!, but so far the club meetings have always clashed with my admittedly annoyingly odd working hours, and are a good hours drive from home! I have spoken with a couple of members over the phone ....I'll just have to make sure I can be there for the January club meeting. Geoff, do you know of any club requirements to be met for conditional rego? How about all the 240K owners making the trek for Easter Now that would be something to see :classic: Jim.

9 years later ...
Hi Jeff. What can you tell us about those mags? Brand/ size / age? They look like wider versions of the Nissan mags on my 240K which are 14x6,originally fitted out here in Australia around 1975. Thanks, Jim.

Sagamiko meeting 2004
May be of interest to Mike and Alan..and I'll stick it in my gallery when it's working again, I have an article from "Classic & Sportscar" Dec. 1995 page 20. A few columns about a works rally Z found in a shed in County Duhram after sitting there for 17 years. It apparently starred in the 1971 RAC Rally...one of three shipped over for UK's toughest rally. Driven by Edgar Herrmann to 19th place. Japanese rego was TKS 33 SA 3640 , UK rego was PTE 337L. I'll leave the rest for the photo. Jim. P.S. to keep on topic, I don't think it was at Sagamiko was it Alan?! :nervous:

Sagamiko meeting 2004
Thankyou Alan once again for the next best thing to being there! My feelings exactly!! I recognise how extremly hard it is to have a 30+ year old rare classic kept as a time capsule example, and am all for mods, but in keeping with the period of the car! just thinking about it.....I guess that could be just as hard :nervous: but you wouldn't put a disco type hairdo on DaVincis' "Mona Lisa" even if it was a perfect job! I just keep reminding myself it takes all kinds to keep life interesting :cross-eye ...I mean...take me for instance  I'm tired, Jim.

Opinion From The Experts
Here's two versions. Coupe and sedan. The two door is a JDM version, named Skyline. Datsun 240K was an export model tag. Amazing the difference a set of Watanabes make! Jim.

Opinion From The Experts
Over at Skylinesdownunder, in the USA section there is a thread on older Skylines. "KenMary73" speaks of a few C110's 'stateside. He's in San Diego. Jim.

Cleaned, stripped and painted waiting for a body
How I would love to be at this stage. Just looking at the parts on the shelves...spotless and ready to go back together, just like a big Tamiya kit! Please keep us up tp date on any progress Alan. Jim.

Cleaned Rocker Cover
Very nice Alan! Would you mind explaining how this finish was achieved? Would this cover now be ready for a buff type shine? Thanks, Jim.

Aussie Boys & Their "Toys".
Bit silly...but typical of Aussies in uniform! My younger brother did a 25 year stint in the Australian Army. Some of the stories, particularly those that came out of joint manoeuvres in the Australian scrub with your guys, were simply too crazy NOT to be true! One that sticks in my mind came from...I think they called it K eighty something? Kangaroo 198??...back in the eighties anyway, the Aussies are camped out amongst the trees in the middle of nowhere, it's a pitch black night....very quiet, the distant sound of a cruising American Forces jet was not uncommon, then all of a sudden all hell breaks loose! the jet had approached at near treetop level, went ballistic on afterburners, setting fire to the treetops near the Australian camp I think it was after the second or third time this happened some wrists were slapped. It sounded like a lot of time was spent on both sides pulling some practical and very ingenius jokes and one-upsmanship!! Sadly the attitude to such hi-jinx has come down hard since 11th Sept 01. Jim.

Yahoo Japan KPGC110 grille

C110 240K Service Manual Ebay Australia
I know it's nicer to have your own on hand, but if the need arises Pete I've got all the individual C110 manuals from Nissan, (except that @^%! airconditioning one from Kieki Diesel for the 240K) as well as the combined single volume. For whatever reason these seem to sell a lot cheaper. They appear to have everything the others have...just all in one binding. I can always scan or photocopy anything specific if you are in a fix....or a broke? Cheers, Jim.

Skyline Goodies
I like the idea for the basketball top! If you would like to sell the bootlid badge from the C10, please let me know, that's one that I need! Thanks mate, Jim.
