  1. See, I practice what I preach-maybe one day all off the practice will have made a difference  . Carl, Aint you a little stinker-not by the size of the tatoo! Michael really did invite me, so I guess I am his fault...yea, yea, that's the ticket. Will

We have come a long way from Henry Ford and his perception of color. Personally the happiness of the owner with the color is the most important to me. WIll
  3. I was had been a ghost on all of the Z and roadster sites for years, and was cordially invited to become a member of this one by MPerdue. I liked what I read and actually started jumping in. I don't think beating people up for opposing views(or colors) or trying to ram them down someone elses throat makes makes for a good and healthy forum. I do think poking some fun once in a while helps to add enjoyment, but unless you are willing to make yourself a target, don't make anyone else one. Will

I am 41, decidedly not in the best shape of my life, and if people want to paint their cars the same color as my sons last diaper-more power to em! It will just make my dark blue metalic show off my chrome that much better! Kinda like Rodney Dangerfields advice in Back to School, "If you want to look thin, hang out with fat people!" I am getting older, but that beats the alternative! Thought for the day: If heaven is the satisfaction of all of our dreams not ruled out by the ten commandments, there will be only roads that we own, Zs that we respect, and nothing to spoil the drive! (Read nothing our gas pedal foot can't handle!) Admiring is NOT the same thing as covetting! Will
  5. boohaahaaahaaaaa! Have you forgotten, we have all seen you in the pimp outfit-especially that hat! Innoscent-hahhahahahhhahhahhahahahaaa! that's a good one, you slay me Bill! Your "Duck" story kind of stopped that mistake cold!!! Will
  6. I think the worst drivers are the ones who know they are disobeying the trafic laws-IE, Coming down the middle(go straight) lane of an off ramp and turning because the turn lane is backed up, but the straight lane place them able to turn 2 car lengths ahead of the next car in the turn lane. That type of person does respect anyone else, and thinks anything he does not get caught doing is just fine. A mistake, even not paying attention is one thing, but purposfully and blatenetly disrespecting others means he does this at every chance, and more probably in every aspect of his life. I wonder how hard a 30cal would be to fit in a frame rail? WIll
  7. They'll ony be worth more if I'm not the one doing the buying! I would not buy one that well kept to drive, I at this point in my life, I wouldn't buy one to put up for any purpose but to have a good starting point later-unless the price was right Of cours putting a non authentic part will work in a pinch for anyone, replacing it later with the "right piece" is the part that makes most of us fall away.. Will
  8. You are a lucky man-as long as she doen't know it! I'll never tell 30 women huh-I knew you had history... Will
  9. Alright Bryan, she does not want any candy... Will
  10. Tickets aren't the money, the change in your insurance rates is the money, and that lasts at least 3 years. At 18, I had a heavier foot, and the cops didn't give out warnings to a teenage male alone at 4am in a sportscar passing everything that was flying low. 176 miles through 2 large towns and 9 small ones, none with a citywide speed limit above 35, in just under 2 hours, you do the math, and realize that when I got to a town, I did slow down. But what he ment was going faster costs more money in equipment. Will
  11. You need to find out if it rings or valves, or both, and address the real problem. Once you know what it is(the FSM addresses how to tell the difference-it is probably covered in the archives here as well) you can choose to have the problem corrected with your existing parts if possable, or search for used parts without the problem. Addressing the webbers will need to be done, but unless a part came loose from them and fell in #2, they are not the source of this problem. Rebuilt them, but fix the other situation first(or at the same time). Rebuild kits are more expensive and harder to locate than the su kits, and not as well doccuments(ZTherapy has a gret SU video), but are available. Will
  12. Come on Bill what you really want is a full size poster of racegirl-but then who wouldn't! Will
  13. I have thought of that too-even made up some centrifigal casting equipment, and checking in to chrome plateing the plastic trim. For what I want, and the difference in costvs longevity, real metal is the only way to go. Could you post or pm some pictures of yours? I have been experimenting with some white metal, and have ordered some thinner stainless to try again with. The lens molds are still not finished. Will
  14. You figure at least $700 for each turbo(conservatively), at least $3,000 for all of the custom tubing and polish, $7,800 for an additinal 500hp(over the stock engine output) Someone is addicted to polished aluminum Will
  15. Well, you know MikeW, I couldn't even offer you a drink-some host I was... I wouldn't have taken my picture either! I'd say my bald spot covers it(the target on my head), but that doesn't make any sence! Will
  16. If matter can neither be destroyed or created, then all of the parts are the same age, because all matter is the same age-in terms of raw materials. I want a car for enjoyment, and that means thinking about, working on, upgrading, restoring, cleaning, reading about, talking about, and most of all driving! I put that last, because it looks like it is going to be a while... I am the only judge I am trying to impress-while I would like others to enjoy my car, they get to do it for only an investment in the time it takes to look at it, but I value my vision of what is should be to pay for it in time, sweat, blood, and money. Those who put on the car show get to pick the judges, and they assign importance. I have asked several members for their opinion on potential changes to my car, and I appreciate the input they have given, but at the end of the day, the change to be is up to me. I want it to look authentic(as if it came from Nissan that way), but perform differently! Will
  17. Damn, there's that target again! I forgot, The batteries were low, the camera's broken(proving I tried to take my picture), I've been sick-really (acute Bronchitus as of yesterday), I actually did set up to take some pictures of Me and Thomas in our Z hats, but Momma had different ideas at that moment. I know you don't want the mugshot for club merchandise, but I will see what I can doo .Thomas left for a weekend with his GrandMa and Aunt-so the wife and I can get over our maladys. I have had this crap for over a month! I will set up to take some pictures on Monday! Thread content: What about a club carwash/detail kit-a bucket with the club insignia and a few of the lighter necessities with a list of the other parts/fluids and instructions. A club Front window shade Emblem on both sides. A club wheel shield(the thingy used to keep armour all/silicone off the wheels when treating the tires) A club Chamoise- a large real one with a storage container and instruction for use and care. Will
  18. Some one is addicted to polished aluminum-I bet that car doesn't get a hundred miles a year under its own power. Will
  19. I guess One big enough to cover the target I some times wear on my forehead would be good! Will
  20. Craftsman, SK, Matco, throwaway. Though recently the Craftsman tools I have purchased seem to be in the throwaway category(3 3/8" wratchets in 5 fasteners(no not spindle pins)(replaced a 20 year old tool, that had been hammered on one too many times with 3 before I got one that would wratchet repeatedly), 1 1/4 wratchet-same problem, chrome peeling off new sockets-cutting skin, After having three trips to Sears to replace a faulty wratchet, slicing open my thumb with the chrome plating that was peeling off a brand new 17mm deep socket was just too damn much-Sears said the plating wasn't warranted, and the tool still performed as intended-my question was what part of the design was ment to peel the flesh from my thumb. I am not buying more Craftsman tools, they have lowered their quality. I will replace them as they fail with SK, Matco, or Snap-on. Will
  21. Sorry Carl, I couldn't resist!
  22. Only one, How big is your left cheek? Will
  23. While there are some great ideas I would absolutely buy in the list, I really like Enriques idea as well-Chromed and Enamelled Brass just does something for a grill! Here are a few more: Stickers-for the windshield, notebook, Trailer(ZRUSH has a Photo shoot coming up), nursery wall-what ever. Iron ons-since making a hat(or anything else) in ute(Northern for Youth) sizes realy is too limiting for the scope of a fundrasing idea, how about an iron on patch(embroidrered or not) that could be affixed to a bib, a hat, a set of OShKOSHes (baby overalls), a leather jacket, or even a, oh I don't know-seat covers-hatch carpet-car cover-fender protector... It would make putting the Club identity on almost anything easy. Maybe that thought is frightening-I mean, who knows what toys in Carl's garage(Hey buddy, you opened the door-posting in the other thread!) would end up with the emblazoning, but...making a high quality patch in several sizes is certianly more cost effective than buying something limiting like a single use item-how many hats are left? Before we get into the part of the problem speach, I bought two CDs(one off the club page), 2 hats, and donated-and posted-a pair of pictures of a newborn baby(one of the most proven marketing techniques) wearing both colors of hats. Emblems, Badges, Patches, Stickers, and the like allow members to make their own choices about where they want the club identity. Will
  24. Tivo my arse, what did I do with that damn VR adaptor... the last place I used it was on Carls links to the SEMA pictures... Will
