If Aluminum is cleaned with Marine Clean, it looks great for a week or so, and then starts to develop oxidation because there is nothing coating the surface to protect it. as time permits, I will make a mount fto fit a flex shaft to the toolpost, and write some code to automate the polishing-This mill/drill/lathe has 3 axis cnc control! -
I mounted the wheel with two lugs. I usedwet/dry 120 grit paper to sand past the nicks. I will use progressively finer paper, and then switch to compound, and write some code to automate polishing! -
