  1. It was a post for you back in the archives a few years ago. Something on Ebay I thought would interest you: An invitation package sent to race teams to compete at Fuji Speedway from the 60's. Also there was a prince mechanic's overall from the 60's.
  2. Now now don't be jealous... I found that Fuji track race entry document for you!
  3. @Carl Beck It is from a dealership in Eastern Canada. @Mike B will have more details in the near future ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-1970-s-Datsun-Dealer-Rustproofing-Procedures/183687554186?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dc451c7e541a9411ebc5be1387afd402f%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D183687554186%26itm%3D183687554186&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A7093e253-343d-11e9-aae9-74dbd1806697|parentrq%3A059d9ec71690ac7026cce6e8ffe387b7|iid%3A1
  4. So obvious, what were you thinking?
  5. thanks for the update!
  6. It seems this company in China supplies many companies with lifts, including Rotary. http://www.vsgdover.com/APAC/index.htm
  7. Would you stand under your car knowing the lift was made in a country where it is ok to: lie falsify certification documents not vet supply chain ship parts that are not manufactured correctly? I would build some trusses to put under your car just in case.
  8. Good work! I am betting on that battery terminal. When you have time disconnect, inspect, and clean every electrical connection in your engine bay, in the passenger footwell, on your ECU, at the fuse panel (including fuse holder tabs), and ignition box.
  9. Thanks Jim! That is a quality post that should be a reference for all! Now to pass the information to my buddy Ross who is in Arizona with various Z's to bring home.
  10. Hi All, What supplier has the best value for a full S30 rubber set? Thanks
  11. It is connected to +coil in your photo. It is the other end that is not connected which is wrong. It should connect to ground. Your car seems to have a dual lead condenser. FYI Usually the Nissan condensers have just one single lead and the body is ground (see lower photo for typical 280z condenser).
  12. I think that is not correct condenser. Usually only one lead and the body is grounded.

    ~ 1 month out.
  14. Failing Ignition module can spontaneously cause loss of ignition (look at tach to see if it drops instantly when coasting). Usually they start working again after the circuit cools down. Failing capacitors (condensers) can short out their connected ends when failing. Usually they start working again after the circuit cools down.
  15. It seems to be the way to go for Mig + Aluminum.

Rats. Too short for me to look. Sorry ?

Are you in a rush? I think there are lots of 510 parts in our Z barn.
  18. I guess there are plugs on each side or is the underside a drain?
  19. btw: This is the perfect screwdriver tip for Webers, etc!
  20. ^ ^ ^ ^ Above post @bartsscooterservice, @EuroDat
  21. Sorry, I assumed too much. Please review this then get back to us. http://240260280.com/Tech/Carbs/Weber/DCOE Theory Operation and Tuning.html
  22. There are two possibilities: 1. Poor sealing resulting in loss of vacuum at head of fuel to lift it up into the passage to the aux venturi. 2. Clogged main jets or jet too small.
