  1. Well maybe it was 2 when posted. I'm sorry and a little tipsy. It's 2:46 am here. I'm in bed with the dog, no freckles, no beer. The bad weather went through about 6pm central. 4pm your time.
  2. No sir. There's 4 time zones. I'm #2 from the right coast.
  3. Yes I do. So we're saying the box is wrong? That makes good sense to me. Thank you.
  4. I imagine I've posted this before, it's one of the all time greatest, so I apologize.
  5. Insurance is like our boobie thread. Look but no touchy, worthless.
  6. If a tornado hits I guess I back them out into the driveway? Then nothing happens and they get soaking wet.
  7. We've had some bad weather all day and I'm wide awake. Lucky for me I have a low psi electric pump from my boat motor that I've used in tandem with a small Jerry gas can up front to bypass all the fuel BS and run 3.5 psi to my carbs. It ran good so I worked my way backwards. Rebuilt carbs, dropped the tank and cleaned it then coated with a fuel resistant liner Red Kote and it's been perfect ever since.
  8. I'm just guessing but with the needle dropped all the way down you have a fuel starvation problem. Clogged lines, tank, pump the whole $^!# and caboodle. I'm not able to point one thing out but posting your problems will help the guys get it figured out sooner or later hopefully. Any details you can remember will help. It's frustrating for sure but you have to go through the crap piece by piece to get it right. Sorry but there's no breaking line on this stuff. We'll hit the problem sooner hopefully than later. Hang in there. More details will help I promise.
  9. I agree with your selling reasoning. If you're not in a hurry I'm sure you'll find someone that will appreciate the car for all you've done and pay you a fair price. I wish you all the best in the process, hoping the buyer will to.
  10. After thinking about it the reason I bought the Empi flow meter was that it lets you open up side air input letting it breathe without choking out the carb.
  11. I use the "snail" for air so I'm not familiar with your thing, sorry.
  12. Unhook the plastic marble up top. To the right of #8.
  13. Try turning #10s in this diagram. I'm pretty sure that opens the air up so your red ball thing will be higher.
  14. Its not a ZX radio and according to what's described in that thread I posted its likely a '76 or '77? Good luck. You have a new old stock radio no matter what it fits. Edit, I can't remember a ZX without a cassette player.
  15. Anyone know what this is? I found it recently in my storage building.
  16. One came within a few miles of me. I put my motorcycle helmet on and raised the roll over bar on my Exmark mower. Me and my dog sat on the lawnmower, me with a motorcycle helment on and a beer I couldn't drink with the dog in my lap. My redneck safe place, a riding lawnmower. Oh and I found out today that if my garage apartment falls on my Zs my homeowners covers them, not Hagerty. I've got to get that figured out asap, the values and what not.
  17. As always, cheaper on amazon.com.
  18. Look good! Don't know if you got the lug nuts with your wheels but to save some money I bought these for both my 280 and 240. They are the same the wheel store sell. Good quality, I've had them for years and regularly rotate my wheels/tires so no damage from my impact wrench. Just an FYI... https://www.ebay.com/itm/16-12X1-25-SILVER-LUG-NUTS-FITS-NISSAN-ALTIMA-MAXIMA-SENTRA/110687627023
  19. Here's my '72s and you can see the different heights. The DVD that came with my rebuild kit talks about stacking washers to make up the difference. The valves they sale now are the same length where the OEs are different. I guess Steve is saying you can make up the difference bending the floats? I had a helluva time with mine and ended up using two shorter rear lids like the earlier 4 screw SUs. One of the best things I've done to my carbs. I read the reason for the newer difference in heights was to make up for acceleration and the fuel going to the back side of the front bowl. I've never had any problem with fuel starvation after I got the floats right.
  20. Could the the "J" shaped hoses at the bottom, connecting the nozzles to the float bowls be bad? I bought one that someone had put regular fuel hose on that hardened over time and pinch not allowing proper fuel flow. I'm using my phone now so I can't be much help until in the morning. I can show you some pictures then. Here's some threads that talk about that problem. I'll get back asap tomorrow with something better. https://www.google.com/search?q=240z+nozzle+to+float+chamber+hose+classiczcars.com&source=lmns&bih=449&biw=320&client=ms-android-americamovil-us-revc&prmd=sivn&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjO98eRnMrvAhVM6VMKHU5gCH8Q_AUoAHoECAAQAg
  21. It does look like a good car. I noticed the battery's wires and couldn't figure out which is which. The original position was the positive post next to the fender, negative closest to the motor. There's a small ground wire that needs to be connected to the firewall under the passenger's side of the windshield off the negative cable. Circled in red here...
