Ok now that the issue of stupid questions has come up along with LHD vs RHD discussions. I need to ask a stupid question too!! I am from texas and have a LHD Z. When i sit in the passenger seat is seems the shifter feel more natrual. Now on to my question. How are the gears configured on the RHD models? A) 5--3--1 --- N -- R--4--2 OR ....like the LHDs... 1--3--5 --- N--- 2--4--R If the ansewer is A then that is what i would prefer.

When i first got my 78 i had to replace the fuel lines too. I guess that is just the way it is. Wasn't hard and was in way kinda fun.

Thanks!! i just found out my motor has had it. Throw a chain in your dryer and turn it on and that is what my engine sounds like. Literally!!!! Surprisingly i runs and turns on so the EFi this time is good. Guess i will sell the EFi stuff soon.

You will have to swap an entire turbo engine in from the 280zx turbo (L28et) to do this resonably. from Hybrid Z site.....

To bring back a thread proxlamus started a while back.. Well i was thinking of LEDs. I need to further investigate more on this though. I want to try to put them in place of the stock bulbs. I have to find out if the ground on the bulbs is uses the casing of the gage. Not to mention the pain it is to pull them(amp guage/fuel ect.) and such....that alone prevents me from checking it out soon.

I understand your fustration. A simple search could have been done to find info.

I know this topic has come up before on HybridZ.org try a search there. If i was going to spend that kind of money on a conversion then i would do an LS1 or 2JZ conversion, but that is just me. Since i am not going to spend that money its L28eT for me.

I had this problem once but i don't know if it is the same one your having. My car would turn but not start. Turned out to be the condenser in the distributor. I replaced the ignition coil too sice it looked old.
