If the vinyl looks good, I would just pull out the factory carpet & use the pieces as templates to cut the new stuff. Since the new carpet is not molded, I wouldn't try to wrap any other then the flat areas on floor wells & back hatch area. Should be able to make it look pretty good.

Mine had the same dents in roof before restoration. I Cant figure out how these dents occur. *Must say, it looks a world better already.

I purchased my most recent 240 on E Bay this last November that claimed "No Rust". I am learning the hard way that auto body repair is much more expensive to re-do then mechanical work. Overall it was pretty good but, media blast revealed some body work (& rust) I didnt spot.

That wasnt the case in 90'. I would never have sold had I realized that it would become exempt. I imagine that most of us wish we had hung onto some of previous cars

I like the Z's just the way they came from factory but, stuff like stripes & wheels that could easily be put back later seem pretty cool.

I too have recently gotten back into Z. I owned a 72' until 90' when I could no longer keep registered in CA because of smog regulations. I have missed that car & finally got another which I have steadily been sinking a boat load of $ into over last year. Luckily Im doing this one to keep.

Are door decals available in other then Black & White? I have seen 240z photos shown with door stripe in gold & would really like to find

These look like Panasport. Koenig makes similar looking wheel called "Rewinds"

I put "full dash-cap" on my 73 but, makes opening the glove box difficult & didnt fit around the circular chrome side-vents. Has anyone had these problems? I am thinking of switching to a dash-cap.
