  1. My picture won't load, but it has been noted here about the safety factor. I agree as well, the studs don't look seated in the back of the hub. Perhaps there is some built up in the hole or the stud has some extra metal around the head of it. I always hate to back track like taking the hub back off and seating the studs correctly. This is an area of safety in the wheel spinning true and not falling off the car when making some spirited turns. The knocking noise you mentioned at the start of this thread might be the lug nuts were bottoming on the stud before securing the wheel to the hub. That is also a safety issue I would not want in my car, plus you would never get it aligned. This sounds like the studs are too long. did you compare them to the old ones first? These studs don't look squared up to the hub as others have said. It is hard to put a right angle in a picture but I think you'll get the idea.
  2. I have this pair. CPM shows only one part number for both, But being used the have the screw hole on opposite sides. This is a L/R pair. There are some dimples in the pleats but no holes or mice chewings.
  3. I do have some tubes. Do you just need specific ones or all of them.
  4. The threads bottom out against that sleeve, thus making the torque spec. I had enough threads still showing I double nutted it. Just to be sure it did not come off.
  5. I saw this on Face Book. $350 seems a bit steep though.
  6. Well there you go I didn't scroll down at all, as it is with most FB ad's I see. There was a picture of the "trunk" but no door in there.
  7. Pick N Pull won't sell the whole car unless they list it as a builder. They also only show this one picture of it in the processing yard. They get stripped fast. Funny they list the transmission as unknown, they can't tell a stick from an automatic? It should also have the desirable brake booster on that one as well.
  8. I don't even see a drivers door in any of the pictures. 12/71 would be too late for your request.
  9. Like I mentioned they do offer sales prices every now and then. It is currently closer to your Courtesy pricing. You really have to be diligent in your purchases.
  10. There's nuggets of gold in them thar nubbins........ Now what's the most cash advance you can get on your credit cards??? lol
  11. I bought some broken switches off eBay a while back, for parts. Now I can't find them 🥵 One of the problems with hoarding parts I guess. I'll keep looking for it as it likely had some nubbins and springs. They are in one of the crates/boxes, I know I did not sell any of that stuff. I'll wait to offer them until I have them in my had, lol
  12. I would venture to say all the full size spare tire tanks are the same, the 77-78 with the space saver spare is a completely different tank.
  13. This dealership likes to offer sales of 10-18 percent off the 'green" price, so in-between sales they are high on some parts. The sale price seems more inline with the Courtesy pricing. I don't usually buy from Amazon. eBay can be hit or miss too. Sometimes you get great deals though. You have to watch it like a hawk, as there is a lot of competition.
  14. The local dealer I go through has this page on their site. https://www.nissanparts.cc/c-datsun-51 They list this filler neck, 240/260/280 Nice price!! 🥺 https://www.nissanparts.cc/oem-parts/nissan-fuel-filler-hose-240z-260z-280z-17208n3050?c=bD05NiZuPUNhdGVnb3J5IFBhZ2U%3D
  15. That is something I might have. Give me a few days to check the codes. It is cold and wet here in WA.
  16. I have a use wiper transmission from a 78. It will need some clean up but the pivot turn. Just up the road in Washington.
  17. I looked for mine today and found I have two different ones. I think the small one is off the 73 240Z and the big one is from a 74 260Z. Not as pretty as the new ones ^^^ but not as much either.
  18. Others will chime in on this as well. It is my understanding that the silver ones are the 240 style in what was known as the banjo wipers. With the two round arcs looking like banjo strings. The black set I think is the later 280 style and things were evolving through the years. I guess it would depend on how accurate you want the car to look for the year it is. I might still have some later styles one if you're interested. I have a bunch of the 240 style. On my older 240 style I just buy refills for the rubber blade part. not the whole assembly like the modern cars use. FWIW
  19. I think I still have one from an early 260Z. I can check tomorrow and see if it is still in the hoard. It would likely have surface rust and need clean up as the car was out in the bushes for years.
  20. It did label it as Washer Plain, so i am not 100% sure. That bag shows a -4351A which might again be different than a -43510. I also don't see the -4351A as part of the superseded list. Which part number did you order from Nissan? -43610 (Zed's) or the -43510 (mine) or both?
  21. I was thinking number 71 in the diagram. That also calls for 8 each Superseded now see second pic. Still available from Nissan.
  22. They are the one that look like this. As you go down the bolt row on the fender under the hood section there are these D washers. The flat part is on the bottom and provides the depth needed so the washers don't stick up above the fenders. Note : Zedsaver shows them with the flat part up. I have always seen them with the flat part down. Now I am not sure of the orientation.
  23. One NOS new one on eBay right now $580 (your pic I believe) There were only two in the sold section, a lot more of the Temp gauges. I was thinking around $150 I saw a decent one sold for $130 ish. and a rusted one for $60.
  24. I have a volts/fuel gauge, I'm not 100% on what year but it looks the same as your picture. Small spot on 8V line I'll open it up if you're interested. Hard to get a clean pic of the face.
  25. Sounds like you sorted this out but it was my understanding that the +8 caliper was for the non vented stock rotor and the W was for the wider vented rotor. I have had mine on the non vented rotors for some years now and may recall incorrectly.
