  1. I have a few that don't work as is. Like Mart asked if you just need a part from one it is cheaper to ship.
  2. No just trimmed it a little around the bracket, The hatch is closed most of the time anyhow. I have not had any issues It is a little tight around the hinges too.
  3. A lot of it depends on what YOU want out of the car. Nissan paired the 5 speeds with 3:90 gears for the most part. it is a good combo. I went with 3:70 and a ZX "close" ratio myself but that was my choice. The different 5 speeds have different 5th ratio's too.
  4. Automatics were 3:54 with the 4 speed being 3:36 Most 5 speeds had the 3:90 but in a R200 diff. Other ratios are available as well.
  5. I installed the Kia seal in my hatch area, works great. I went with option 2.
  6. I seem to remember those small plastic squares were used on a number of locations for a ZX. Side markers, dash trim, etc.
  7. R200 is wider and more round. R180 is more rectangular.
  8. Odd, I don't see the lower part on eBay at all. Lots of the upper striker and dove tails but not the popper part. I have some used ones if you are interested.
  9. It looks like I have one that might suit your needs, no dings but needs polishing. The issue I see with it is getting it shipped to you. I would have to make some sort of box. It would likely end up dimensional weight too. $$
  10. I do have some, I'll have to scrutinize to see if they meet the ZCON condition.
  11. I sent the link to a Seattle friend who had mentioned he was looking for door cards. He ended up buying these for $600.
  12. These just popped up on the local CL. $800 https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/d/renton-nos-datsun-240z-door-panels/7775534769.html
  13. Even the E41 balance tube (euro) had those same two ports.
  14. I agree with @Yarb the T3 spacers fit between the hub and the rotor. Thereby spacing the rotor back in to the car. This will move the caliper back to the spot where it will clear the strut housing bracket. Do install the correct pads too.
  15. Steve sells a kit for the mechanism. https://www.240zrubberparts.com/product-page/240z-lock-mechanism-set
  16. I just run the +8 on solid rotors and have had no issues. I guess I must not drive hard enough to have brake fade, I still have fun though. As Zed said, brakes are not one of those items you want to have hacked together.
  17. There are two different S12+8 calipers one vented and one not.The S12W is a vented only caliper. The Toyota rotors are 6 lug. You would need 300ZX rotors. Here is a snip from a Hybrids post.
  18. Of note are the vent holes above the strut towers. These look like speaker holes but are for the C pillar vents. The bump out for the expansion tank is larger than the early 70-71 cars that had the plastic tank. Also I believe the 77-78 were different as well. (Raised Floors) Your 260 should be the same as late 240 (72-73) to early 280 (75-76) and the 260 of course. 1974 Bump outs for the taillight access too. Early cars were flat panels.
  19. 95 degrees out there right now. Here is one overall pic, I can send more detail via PM. A little surface rust but overall in good shape. I don't see any cracks.
  20. I'll double check what I have available after work. Supposed to get super hot here today (100+), so bear with me. I live in the NW because I like it colder. lol so much for that.
  21. Thanks Yarb, I might have another used balancer, nothing in a single groove though.
  22. Not so silly, They are a sheet metal screw for some reason, about 2cm long I can't determine a thread pitch, but course is the appropriate term. They thread right into the bracket.
  23. You should like the way they are stored Mart. They fit better in the bin.
  24. My signature line does say 15 parts cars + Piles of parts
