  9. great info guys. I do have the dash all ripped out. I am doing a complete restore on the car. I just need to get the motor out and send it off to paint.
  10. I have been searching, but have been unable to determine this question. Can a Vintage Air Gen II Compact system fit in a 72 240z? If so, are there any pics, write ups? I have seen the Vintage Air Gen II mini systems installed, I am just thinking of getting a little more. Thanks

  12. out of curiosity, it has been over a year since the last post on how the dash is doing from the repair. Any news on how it is today?

  16. you hit it on the nose with the engine. I want to bring it back to stock with my own touches. I am going to paint the car black and have the interior be tan. I will most likely put in 350z seat instead of the stock ones. This is a first for me. I want to learn everything about the car and have a greater understanding of the basic concept of them
  17. this maybe obvious and most like you have done it, but check the connections. Are they hooked up? Have you checked the fuses?
  18. also, the floor mats, i think, cost over a grand to replace.

  20. I have been lurking around the forum and I have seen some very helpful information. Thus, you guys are great and I thought that the title would grab your attention. I guess I had better introduce myself. My name is Jason. I have owed my share if nissans. I just picked a 1972 240z that I am going to restore and learn from. I also have a 350z. pics at the bottom on that one. this is the day i got it home. I have had it one week so far. This is what I have done in that one week. I almost have the dashboard out.
