You are certainly full of anger. Look most stars in the public have lived a privileged life to some degree. But Adam Carolla is not Paris Hilton, or Kim Kardash, who have done nothing to inherit their money. What separates Adam is that regardless of his background, he has managed to see the problem. Which means he is far enough removed from it to recognize those who are entitled and do not realize it. That alone makes him pretty different than most of the 'me too' generation. If he was truly from the entitlement mindset, he would not be able to step away and see what is happening as accurately has he has done.

WEll it turns out I am blessed I canceled. I had to rush my dad to the ER Friday when I should have been out of town as he had a hard time breathing. He has renal cell carcinoma. Spent most of the night with him. Sometimes things happen for a reason. I am just so relieved I was here to take him...

The 72 FSM clearly states the transmission capacity is 1.5 liters. That is what I filled mine to, and no it did not pour out of the fill hole. I did however measure the amount of fluid that I took out ( a practice I highly recommend to everybody) And I removed 1.6 liters as I filled to the fill hole last time I changed fluid.

Would love to see some pictures of the your 930 and Arnes 911. When I bought my 240Z it was between the datsun and a 911, when I looked at how much parts were for 911's I slowly stepped back, but I would love an early 70's air cooled 911.

I say get them stripped and get them chromed. THEN I would design a new decal for the spinner centercap you have to accentuate the Healy-ness and Datsun ness of it all. Something classy. Get them made in super thick vinyl and enjoy the questions you get. I agree with Chris, classy looking cars need classy rims.

These are 195/60/15's on a 15x7" rim. I really think they fit quite well.

good for you Mike! I am pretty bummed about the whole thing. I have been working on this for several months. I have had magnets made for an event that never happened. I will reschedule this, as I am determined to do some wine country driving like yourself. If I were in Austin, I would probably be joining you, but most of us houston guys are coming quite a bit farther. Hell, I am near Kemah, so I am as south of houston as you can get and still be considered in the Houston Area. HAHA. The weather may clear, but then again, it may get worse. It is so hard to ask people to gamble with this far a drive. I salute you and your wife for making the trip. And I will be making many calls to you for advice on making the spring trip a reality.

Just like the title says, My newly rebuild SU's squeak. I have had my Z therapy carbs on my car for over a year now and they are quite brilliant. Lately though, I have been noticing a squeaking coming from the dashpots as they go up in the dome off idle when I blip the throttle. Is there a way to lubricate these? I did not think they needed any lubrication? But since I am chasing down a mixture issue, I wonder if my needle is not rising all the way and that could be messing with my fuel mixture. I have not had my carbs apart since they left the Z therapy labs. Never needed to mess with them. They were flawless after being tuned and balanced.

I agree, I have called a few around me and they only work on Fuel injected cars. There is nobody with a brain cell left that can work on carbs. They all have been spoiled by OBD-II I am going to invest in a wideband O2 and get my exhaust tapped so I can do some tuning on my own.

Yup, I peeled it off about a year ago. I like the cleaner side better . It happened the same time as when I went to colored OEM turn signals.

Just called the hotel, and if you are going to cancel, you must cancel by Tuesday if you want your card to not be charged. I think it may be time to talk about an alternative date.

Well, it seems that it gets worse... The forcast is showing heavy rain in and around Frederiskburg Thursday through Wednesday. The entire weekend could be soaking wet. I am going to call the hotel to see if they charge to cancel. I think with the huge attrition, and the likelihood of downpours all weekend long, that we may need to reschedule. Who would be willing to post pone our little excursion?

Okay, this is the last week and the time is finally here! How about we shoot each other a PM with our respective cell phone numbers so we will be able to check up on each other and help one another out should there be a problem. Good info on the SM needles. I will ping Z therapy tom get his recommendation on those needles as well

Thats awesome Burl! I think you will be happy. I have yet to see the finished product yet. But I have seen her setup and it looked rather impressive!
