Why don't you jus type up an Officil looking statement on you computer, cut and paste a couple of Black & White nissan datsun logos and print it out then stuff in your service manual in your glove box. I seriously doubt they would check to see if it's legitimate or not :laugh: ~Z~

Ohhh Snap, and I thought I was on to something That is true now you mention it. \I knew the 280Z fender badge came red/orange but did not know the Center caps did as well in the old days. The only ones I seen up to now were those NOS looking ones on Ebay so I thought they might be new. With that all being said does any one know what year did Nissan start using the Box Design the Green Z Badge came in? If I'm not mistaking that design is the current style all the new parts came in now these day. Perhaps we can figure out when the badge was made if it was made the sametime as the box. Nissan is still making the Fairlady Z badge right? I just paid for the Green Z Badge just now and will by happy to mail it to a few Club members along with the Orange Center Cap to make some hands on comparisons as to it's authenticty and see if it's been Testors'd or not. Of coures I'll pay for the return shipping I figure theres enough experts here to come to a Final decision if we all got a hands on look as opposed to these Pixals we're looking at :cheeky: Let me know if your up to it, we can play Hot Potata ! ~Z~

Yeah, the Trans AM Won! That was my team They had an article on them in Pontaic Magizine so I joined the band wagon when I read it. The dad bought the car as a Present for his doughter ( I think on here 18th Birthday or graduation (shotty memory over here :rambo: )) It was an execllent race. Lots of cops :hurt: ~Z~

Found another one of those orange style wheel caps on Ebay. Looks similar to the same type of paint used on my Center Wheel Cap and the Emerald Green Fairlady Z Badge.
