  1. Since you're still looking, I saw this on Craigslist this morning. Two cars in Atlanta for $1600. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/car/577531698.html
  2. If you have a Mac, you just print to PDF....it's built into the OS.
  3. I've got them on my car. You remove your old inspection lids, send them to MSA, and they send you a replacement set. You'll have to sand, prime and paint them yourself. My advice would be to make sure the fitment was right and that they give you all the pieces (the first set they sent me was missing the latch pieces).
  4. I wish I'd known you were going; I'd have asked you to check out the blue interior panels that he says he's got in a 240Z out there.
  5. I like the Libres. If you polished the lip, they would really pop. Both cars are gorgeous. All of the wheel options you showed us are really very classic looks, so I don't think that you can go wrong whatever you decide.
  6. Hello, Steve! Welcome to the club!
  7. Here we are now, entertain us.....
  8. I feel your pain. I'm getting to where I won't buy anything on eBay unless there are good photos, great seller feedback, and a willingness to answer questions on the seller side. If someone sends me a half-assed answer, full of misspellings and/or misinformation, I'm just going to pass.
  9. I just happened to have a handle....um....handy.
  10. He said to leave it in the sun as much as possible over the next three weeks, and then to bring it back in. As one would expect, I guess, paint cures faster in the summer, so he normally tells people two weeks in the summer and three weeks in the winter. For the next couple of weeks, I will work on getting the quarter windows and weatherstripping back in...the interior, too...so I'll be making some progress even if I can't do as much of the reassembly as I'd like.
  11. She's back..... I just picked her up today. She needs to be wet sanded and buffed, still, and the spoiler will need to be mounted. But at least now I am over the expensive part and can start reassembly.
  12. I use Hagerty. This topic has been covered many times before.
  13. Jackson is between Atlanta and Macon, in case anyone is wondering. Too far from me, but maybe somebody from the Atlanta area knows about this car.

I think I just found my new sig!
  15. The color appeals to me, too. The seller might not be the most knowledgeable, but the car does look pretty decent. I'd want to see a lot more detailed photographs before I started getting interested, though.
  16. The statement was made by someone in the classifieds section.
  17. Dave, did you go look at the car? Might be worth scraping together some cash and offering it to him on the spot. If he's motivated, you might be able to walk away with the car for a good deal less than what he's asking (after all, the car really doesn't run).
  18. I read something in the New York Times about it. Apparently the more deeply he gets involved with this model, the more the French president's popularity declines.....they just got married, right? That ought to be the coup de grace, as far as as Sarkozy's presidency goes.......
  19. Yeah, especially a remake that features a car as the star, and one that has Pontiac's 'bird beak' styling cues at that.....
  20. Ugh. I'll let that photo speak for itself... If they were going to do something high-tech and interesting (and weren't so interested in marketing potential), they'd use something like a Tesla Roadster.
  21. Current Firebird? What am I missing here? The last Firebird rolled off the assembly line in 2002.
  22. Are there other photos? The only one I can see is the one that is in Stephen's post.
  23. Your local automotive paint store should have it (I have even seen it for sale at upholstery shops), but if not you can definitely find it online. http://www.levineautoparts.com/semvinandpla.html
  24. I paid $70 for mine, new from Nissan.
