  1. Hello, I have read through threads from years ago and read that some members had been cleaver enough to 3D print Racing Mirrors Gaskets. I am rescuing a scrapped pair of mirrors and wondered if anyone had the 3D design they could email to me and I could then get to work finding a way to print them? Any help would be wonderful. Here are pictures to clarify what I am looking for... Thank you.
  2. We checked the timing. It was about 14 with 32 or so all in Here are my mechanics Morgan is home from school for a few weekends and her boyfriend Mark was here too. They're all good with tools and willing to help
  3. Those seals actually have a lip around the edge that sheet rubber won't duplicate
  4. I tried using the sharp punch tool/screw extraction method while removing the seal. It immediately moved sideways inside. I was able to use a hook tool to extract the seal out. If anyone is interested, I found a plumbing part at Menard's that can be used for the installation. It is called '4x3 Red Bushing Con, SXH SDR35 SW' in the Plumbing section. Its inside diameter fits nicely over the crank. Once the seal is positioned, it was easy to tap it in. I had to dremel inside a little to make sure the 'tool' sits flush: Thanks to everyone for your input. I lost my clutch alignment tool from the Exedy kit, had to order a new one at O'Reilly's.
  5. Uncrunched hood: Good point on the tip, correctly wrinkled steel, spot welds visable. (factory paint on this one)
  6. The seal needs to be flush with the back of the block. It will go deeper, ask me how I know. Had to order another one from nissan🤦‍♂️
  7. I wouldn't have any problem reusing that clutch. I'd replace the seal and reuse everything else. Don't forget a little bit of new EP grease on the pilot bushing.
  8. If you could even find an NOS switch it would be serious money.
  9. Good deal! Keep that hammer handy!!
  10. And if you can find an AFM that hasn’t been modified. The wiring harness itself could be the culprit. After replacing all of the connections on the EFI harness made a huge difference for me.
  11. Ball joint failure is a real thing. It usually causes major damage and loss of control. So the calculation is about how close a person wants to get to that catastrophe. Which also endangers other people on the road. But in this case, Nissan has given an inspection procedure. If it meets spec. why replace? What's odd is that they say that the ball joint cannot be disassembled, when, obviously, it can be.
