  1. I'm thinking about trying this out around here, small town with lazy men. Come in and clean out the garage and add minimal shelving and cabinets to leave room for cars and boats. If anybody has had this done or maybe thought about it and thinks it would be a good idea, make money with little work , chime in and tell me I'm onto something or a dam fool I'd appreciate it. 20 years in general construction so I know the basics it's just whether or not people would pay to keep from doing it themselves. My Mom paid $2,000 to have her closets revamped and she's extremely happy with the results. I'm growing older and worn out!
  2. I don't think hoarders get "cured". You can't just hide the treasures in a POD. That just displaces the hoard and the POD becomes a permanent fixture on the driveway. You have to throw it away forever. I speak from the experience of moving my mother-in-law from her 4200 sq ft home of 50 years. It took months to clear out the accumulation and convince her she would never use items again. The home was neat, but closets, spare bedrooms, and out buildings were filled with last century things she thought were too good to part with. It pretty much took every weekend last spring and every day all summer to clear it out. i think you're on track with a good idea - just have to figure out pricing and how much your time is worth. 3. Wow....Very impressive....I love the speed of the restoration....just enough Resto mod......just enough pure stock.....this car will look great and be a blast to drive!
  4. I would be so all over that. We were looking a property up in NE Alabama, oh my there was a 40*60 climate controlled shop with what looked like at least 12ft ceilings. Get this there was a body shop and alignment shop down the street. I told her I can retire and go get an apprentice job a the body shop, rest of the time I will be in my shop. she can have the house to herself!
  5. that is close to what I did, use a 100watt light bulb set on directly on the housing for a couple hours, then freezer followed up with some dust off from an inverted can. As you say, it tapped right in with a plastic hammer. I followed it up with an oversized socket to make sure it was flush with the alum housing, only light taps needed to set it perfectly flush. I was careful to align the oil hole with the oil trough.

Wow! Good fortune!!! I called Quality Auto Parts, and they have the complete 1976 CORRECT bumper for RedBird. Also, I asked them about the headlight bezel (sugar scoop) and they have that too. I forgot to ask them about the fender tho. The bumper and bezel are in perfect condition. So I then called Rex at the body shop and gave him the info. He didn't even flinch when I gave him the quoted prices. Which are $785 for the bumper, and $220. for the bezel etc. Rex asked me if he was able to pin down a fender from them, would I be OK with him ordering the 3 from Quality Parts? No problem on my score! Do it! Looks like things might be heating up for RedBird's repairs soon! I am so excited!!! Any information you all might be able to share with me, I would be very appreciative. Like things needed to complete the installation. Things not included but needed for the complete repair. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy............... "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it I'm about to lose control and I think I like it I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I want you..."

As a whole this forum is very tolerant of other makes. We would much rather buy a Toyota from a forum member than a stranger...just saying
