I'm not sure. I got curious about that when I looked at the pics of @RedBird. She's a 76 and has the non-vented hood. I'd take a guess at the year but knowing Z's that would be useless. I think it would take VIN #s to narrow it down.
  2. Aren't Kelly Bundy and coffee enough medication? Mike must be lurking. There's changes. I'll just fade back in to the crowd.
  3. Those are made by EuroDat/Chas, from Holland, that's his thread. Good luck.
  4. Here's the whole thing for $19.00. https://zcardepot.com/electrical/switches-and-relays/antenna-adjustable-stainless-240z-260z-280z-280zx.html
  5. It has been a number of years since I have gotten into it with Carl and the rubbish about painting the cars at the port of entry. I do know quite a bit about the port-of-entry services at the time and I'm not convinced. Neither have I ever seen a black 280Z that wasn't a Black Pearl Edition. Certainly one could fake a Black Pearl restoration; why? A 280-Zzzap could be faked also. I just don't see the advantage of faking one. So my thoughts are that if you find a nice candidate, with the peculiarities of a full blown Black Pearl, it probably is the real thing.
  6. I didn't know the "discover" page was back. The 24 Hour page. Just switched. Thanks. You're right, it's direct to the latest activity. When I complain I like to think that I speak for the masses, that are otherwise just visiting less. But, it might be just me... Is the ironic part of the cartoon that someone in a blue shirt would help someone in a red shirt?
  7. From the translation I saw on the page: Nissan Datsun 40343N3200 ◆ wheel center cap junk

At least your nuts are clean.
  9. Nice work Kats. Now you don't have to worry about it leaking. When I saw that big puddle when you stopped, I thought it had blown out a seal. I had this happen to me in my toyota just a few weeks before. It had a small leak and the cooling system would lose pressure and the water would boil and go in the overflow tank. Finally one day it blew out the shaft seal completely. Water everywhere! Does the engine still run a little hot? Any luck finding caps for those wheels?

Plunk that sending unit in CLR for 24-48 hours. You'll be amazed how good it will look. I've done two that were crusty and stuck. Both looked hopeless. They both look good and work. As I recall @Wheee was the one with the CLR suggestion. Of course, you'll have to find a way to plug the sending unit hole with something else.
