model?

Featured Replies

Do any of you know where someone would look to find a diecast model of a 240Z with the green and beige look? I hear that kyosho is good, but havent been able to find any with that color scheme. I have looked on e-bay and serached online, but have not found any...any direction you guys could point me to would be great. btw I want a high quality model like kyosho makes

I suggest keeping up with Ebay - the standard "Datsun 240Z" search. I picked one up months ago for around $20. Several years ago, I found one in a toy store and sent it to my nephew for Christmas. My sister tells me he ate the tires.

wow, another from Florida...it has been a while since I have been on here, but glad to see there are more Zs in Florida. If I am ever in Sarasota I would love to see your car. How original is it? I know there is a Zed for sale in Sarasota for 9K. Heard the guys are a&* h%^& there though. Anyway thanks for the pointer.

anyone know someone that sells Kyosho 240Zs? I cant seem to find any that arent the rally version, or the jap version of the cap. I hear Kyosho comes highly recomended though...saying it is the best for diecast quality...anyone have an opinion or a direction they could point me?

E Train,

Kyosho offers different colours in different countries. Here in Germany for instance we don't have the yellow version, as - I'm not absolutely shure - MSA sells it. I had never seen the coloursceme you mention. So you have to paint the car yourself (or a friend). In that case you have to put the model into pieces and that's difficult with Kyosho. Try to get a Yatming model or - not that good in the correct shape - a Sun model. You can see the different makes in my Gallery. Good luck!

Yat Ming, ech, their models are not very nice at all, but if it's the colour your after it will look great from a distance. Just if you want to fiddle and play with it definitely get a Kyosho. They are worth paying twice as much for...

Ravell-Monogram makes a plastic 1/25 scale model kit. I have 2 of them and the first one is taking me 7 months to build. (alot of customizing.) Wal-Mart sells them for about $10. Good luck

Hey 240zdragon. When you are done with your model I would love to see pics of it. I am building a Fujimi Fairlady 240z. When I am done I will post some pics. Take care.

As far as dicast goes kyosho is good for Z's. I know there is a green one that Ebbro offers but it is 1/43 scale and it has a black interior. Good luck finding it. As Zdragon said, build one. Revell makes a nice 240. Fujimi has a lot of different Z's to choose from, but the quality is not too good.

SunStar make a very nice 240Z diecast with working steering, opening doors bonnet etc. the engine parts are there alt, carbs, etc. My brother bought a black one, there's also a orange and a silver one, no green sorry, but definately a nice example.

Those images aren't the best but in person it looks great. having said that though, I havent seen a Kyosho one so they could be better.
