You didn't say where you're measuring at. The B+ terminal or the battery. Can't tell where your wires are going.

I’m sure I have it screwed up somewhere. I wired that way because of Information I gathered from other Z post is it wrong? Middle finger going to starter post and index finger coming from alternator plug to b+ on the alternator. Green from plug to yellow wire from old alternator plug.

It does look like a bad alternator, if you're sure that connector is making good connection. Did you unplug it to check for voltage? Looks like you have everything you need, don't know why it would not charge. Is that connector fully seated in the alternator?

I don't know the pinout on that connector. Maybe SteveJ does. You have the top one connected to Lamp and the bottom connected to Sense. You didn't use the yellow wire, but it would cause you problems anyway since it's connected to the brake lamp check relay. All it should need is L and ground and spinning to charge.

I thought Green was connected to White with Black in your picture.

I think that I'd take the alternator to a parts store and have it tested before doing much more.

I did have it to white and black at one point to see if it made a difference. Yellow gives me 12v constant black and white no voltage key on of off. Here’s the test that came with the alternator.

There's your problem. You need the switched source.

I just looked at your last post. Too much noise happened between your posts unfortunately, so I missed them. I apologize if you post again before I save this edit. Now that I looked at your photos, let's dissect...

Those aren't really jumpers. They are going to the correct terminals, but contact could be marginal.

You also don't need the jumper between 2 & 3 because...

The red wire going to the alternator post will serve as the battery sense. The rule of thumb is to have the source of that wire come from as close to the battery as possible, but we don't need to quibble about that.

So another potential point of failure is whatever is going on under that electrical tape between the white/black and green wires.

My recommendations:

Use a proper connector for your jumper on the voltage regulator connection. (I know a guy...)

Show how attached the green wire to the white/black wire.

Im starting over. Is that top pin #1? If it is my number 1 is blue, 2 is white/red, 3 yellow, 4 black, 5 white/ back and 6 blue. Clockwise from pic # 2

It is a Frontier alternator. I sent you a PM.

It’s Definitely not a 280Z or ZX alternator.

So, there's a contradiction here. The top wire, the green one, has to have power for the alternator to work.
