Thanks for the info!

Have other members given feedback on these repros?

No, we secretly decided you're the guinea pig.

That is very funny!!

Anyone know what happened to the repro spark plug set for the early cars?

@hiyabrad I didn't go ahead with reproducing the spark plug leads as it was not commercially viable. Also got busy with other projects so just did 3 sets for myself.

@SpeedRoo Thanks for the head's up. I'd be interested in a non-commercially viable set for my 11/69 car. Did you do all of the screen printing on the wires?

@hiyabrad I'm not sure what the correct screen printing would be for a 11/69 240Z. Unless you have an original I have no way of knowing what is right for your car. Were the 1969 spark plug wires blank with no screen printing?

Here are the original Nissan parts fresh out of their bags. Note the negative side only has the protective rubber cover. Yazaki was the supplier and their name is screen printed on the cables, just like on original spark plug wires.

Nice! I have just replaced the old tired one to the new one, but I am not sure what is the difference between my E4400 with your N3300.

Pardon me for stealing this thread, but I have pictures of the spark plug wire design for 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972. I could see how to make a screen for this and print this on a spark plug wire set. It would look original. No one would ever notice if you missed some detail. Time consuming, and thus, expensive.

Again apologies for horning in on the battery cable thread. I have a cable set, old original in good shape, and the reproduction set.

Perfect, just what I need to reproduce the correct markings. The key parts of the spark plug wires are the boots that go on either end. Fortunately I have found a NOS source for them and made up 3 sets for myself.

Okay, let's go!

I hope you are not in a hurry as I don't have a lot of bandwidth to do this at the moment. Again not really commercially viable. Just saw these on JDM parts! https://jdm-car-parts.com/products/spark-plug-wire-set-dated-1977-genuine-nissan-nos-22450-n3626

Thanks Roo. I am not in a hurry and have plenty of time to wait. Jay had a pretty cool set of cables!
