Just being curious here, pay me know mind BUT wouldn't a 9/'74 be considered a 1975?  My 9''76 is titled a 1977.

I understand it has carbs, that's why I'm stumped.  Beautiful car no matter what year it is.

Starting in 9/74 you could get an HLS30 (280Z, 1975) or an RLS30 (260Z, 1975 By FMVSS/DOT, but 1974 by EPA)

What is the engine no.? And what is the block code E31 or P30?

P30 block.....L24.  Block number 077270....from a 1972 240Z.

AARP260 just bought the engine......congrats Craig....I built her with tender loving care and all (and I do mean all, down to the front cover and oil pan bolts) new parts.
