April 11Apr 11 comment_675631 If the supplier states it will work with year, make and model I’m curious what your concern is. April 11Apr 11 comment_675632 Are you buying a new system or trying to figure out if a used system will fit the car? Need more informationI'm trying to figure out if this system will fit my Z. Its a 76' with the stock intake manifold. Everything I've read - from the supply side - states that these are for triple carb setups and am wondering if anyone has tried doing it on the EFI cars. April 11Apr 11 comment_675649 I have this system on my 240z with SUs. The header simply bolts onto the head (obviously) and I had the header ceramic coated to keep the heat down. I know nothing about the efi systems on a 280, but if it is all on the intake side like a carb then you could have heat issues or more likely fitment issues. The header mounts cleanly on my head, I bet it would on your 280 but without knowing first, it could be a very costly error. And I'm the king of costly exhaust mistakes... April 11Apr 11 comment_675652 Are you buying these from a supplier? If so it should state the fitment parameters. Gotta know more details. Is this exhaust new or used? 13 hours ago13 hr comment_677635 Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum and appreciate the knowledge shared here. Rather than starting a new thread, I thought I’d add my question here even though I'm a bit late to the conversation (by about six years!).I’m currently rebuilding a right-hand drive 260Z here in Australia and have recently installed a set of triple Weber carburetors. I’m now looking for an exhaust system that will complement this setup both in terms of performance and sound.I came across this Fujitsubo system that seems promising, but I’ve been unable to confirm whether it’s compatible with the L26 engine. Unfortunately, the manufacturer’s website doesn’t provide any specific information for this setup, nor have I found any local references here in Australia.Has anyone here had experience fitting a Fujitsubo system to an L26 with triples? Would love to know if it fits, and whether it’s worth it from a sound and performance perspective. Thanks in advance! 9 hours ago9 hr comment_677638 I asked my Fujitsubo dealer over here in the Netherlands if the exhaust fits the orig. header and he told me NO.. You need the special header.. he said. about 36-3800 euro i find it to much money for some pipes in stainless! Why not ask the dealer, he should know if it fits the L26.. i'm almost sure they will fit because they are made for a L24 and the L26 is a very simular head (E88). The newest type works with your RS30's R200 differential (earlier systems were only configured to fit cars with R180 & R192 differentials). It will also work well in terms of performance (suiting your triple carb setup) and will sound great. 4 hours ago4 hr comment_677644 I have an l26 block, and the header fits no problem at all, even with SU heat shield and return springs. I also have the slightly older exhaust sectiom as I bought the header and exhaust at separate times, and it clears the R200 in my car as well.It is an expensive and awesome exhaust. I like it almost as much as the new S30 World door seals which I find myself wandering into my garage to simply open and close the doors to my absolute satisfaction!
