It is also full of dessicant pellets sitting between two isolators (one at the top and bottom) holding the pellets in the middle, leaving a four inch gap for water at the bottom.

When your desiccant gets saturated throw them in the oven on a cookie sheet on low for a couple of hours to dry them out

Yup. They are expensive! I have two boxes of pellets. That way I can swap them out as needed while a set is drying. So far so good and the manufacturer says 6 months is normal usage.

I would be surprised if you got six months with the amount of air you're using right now but you might...

I doubt it too. I will change it out soon.
Got a lot done today. Only snapped a quick picture. The grit is getting smaller as I recycle it. I will need a new bag soon. Too much fine grit and it's taking longer now.

Nice work! I noticed you're out from our Canadian West side. Will you make it in time or so to our Canadian East side Z North Convention this summer?

My local car club is sending a few people out. I will not be with them. Military exercises during that time...

Tip of the Week: Replace the grit in your media blasting bucket after approx 10 filter/recycles max....

After about 25 filter/recycles, I am now working in a black cloud of grit dust that is obscuring all vision and blasting efficiency has been reduced to 20-30% at best.... I will be picking up new grit tomorrow!

Got some new grit and picked up some inexpensive hvlp guns for primer and such.
